"A very convenient half-way stopping off point between Perth and Rugby. Lovely friendly girl on reception. My disability( (difficulty with stairs) had been anticipated and my room was easily accessible from the reception. It is a pity that there is no restuarant on site as I fancied an 'ordinary' meal. Over all good value for money and I would recommend it to others"

"Best value for money hotel ive stayed in for long time. Room was clean and comfortable. The onsuite shower could do with being hotter but thats being picky. The gem is the restaurant. Busy on both evenings but staff were on the ball, attentive with food being delivered roasting hot. Both nights I had Chicken and Leek pie. Absolutely superb hence why i had it twice! A mention in dispatches for chips, best chips Ive had ever, fact. Rest of the menu looks good but the Roasts are legendary. Never been to The Gateway before but will return. "

"Our two bedroom apartment was amazing with views of the duck pond. Now we know this resort is here we will come back often. Very spacious rooms and the indoor pool and steam room were really nice. Don't worry about the ghosts!"

Lovely little play area outside and play area inside to keep kids entertained for a little while, nice size rooms and all very clean. Close to Lancaster town centre beautiful area "
