Tristan Lake House - A Little Piece of Heaven

Get away, unwind, and enjoy the peace and beauty of this lake house. Enjoy your mornings sitting on a comfy teak rocking chair with a cup of coffee overlooking the peaceful lake, take a nap in the hammock, fish off the dock, and enjoy your meals inside or outside.

The home has two spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms and is furnished with games and high speed internet. Large wrap around windows provide a gorgeous view of the lake from any seat in the open living room, dining room, and kitchen area.
Recent upgrades include: new fridge, bigger beds in each room, landscaping around house, and availability to rent kayak and stand up boards.

Cleaning staff goes above and beyond, with a complete bedroom turnaround with each guest, which includes freshly washed comforter sets and rugs with each new stay.

Security camera on back of garage (in driveway) provides extra measure of security while maintaining privacy for guests.

Beautiful Lakeside Vibes
This stay was a little slice of heaven next to the lake. It has such a beautiful open feel and the Lakeside reading on the dock was a much appreciated break from the busy weekend. We loved this stay and wished we would’ve spent more time at the property!

Perfect getaway weekend
My wife and my 2 month son took a last minute getaway weekend from Houston and had a wonderful time at the lake house. The lake is a no wake lake so it was very peaceful and the house was perfect. We cooked dinner both nights with everything we needed, enjoyed watching college football on the big TV and seeing the Humming birds buzz around outside on the porch. We look forward to coming back soon!

While looking for a house rental over Labor Day weekend, I was surprised to see five stars for this house The minute we walked in the front doors. I completely understood why everyone had given such high ratings. The house had everything we could ask for in a weekend getaway. Everything was clean, organized and perfectly setup. It sits on the edge of a small but quiet lake and was extremely peaceful. The owner had all kinds of extras, including cookies upon arrival, games in the house, a fabulous hammock and rocking chairs on the back porch, and the paddle boat was the icing on the cake. The owners were fabulous communicators and went above and beyond to make this a perfect weekend for us. We hope to be able to come back and visit soon.

A spot for relax
This lake house is a small oasis of tranquility, if you are looking to relax you found the ideal place, it is quiet, a private lake that is not crowded so if you want to paddleboard or kayak without boats making waves and unbancing this place is perfect! The house is beautiful, very clean, it looks like it has been renovated and very well maintained, the kitchen has absolutely everything you need. We were received with welcome snacks by our host, a very sweet lady who makes you feel welcome, we will definitely come back.

Quiet Oasis
Not only was this such a peaceful house, the area was very quiet and private. The lake is a bit murky, but it's not really meant for swimming (I think). We used it for that, as well as fishing. There are recreational water crafts- some with a nominal fee, a peddle boat you can use for free. Such a cute, quiet lake! The house is amazing, and so spacious. Even the room with 2 double beds still gave enough space that our 2 teenage daughters didn't bicker- lol. Colleen is an amazing host- the weekend wasn't perfect, as the ait went out, but as soon as we told her there was an issue, she came straight over, all the while attempting to find a professional on the phone. She ended up calling out an expert (which I'm sure cost a fortune on a Saturday) and it was fixed within the hour. She is such a sweetheart, and so gracious! She even left some pastries- either danish or kolache, depending on your culture- with a business card for the local bakery. We'll be going back again, and maybe even stopping at that bakery for some "provisions".

The listing does not do the property justice. The cabin and property is amazing, it definitely has the WOW factor. We enjoyed fishing off the dock , where we caught alot of fish. The property owner was so nice and helpful ,it was a really good feeling. We are already talking about when we are going back.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The house was super clean and definitely cared for. The property is right on the lake with access to a boat dock and great fishing. In addition, and most importantly, the owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She went above and beyond to make our experience incredible. She communicated better than anybody I've ever rented a house from. This place is a must for a great weekend of family and fun!

Loved the home, very nice porch to enjoy your morning Coffee, very pieceful. the paddle boat, kayak, paddle boards are a lot of fun. Has a great time fishing with our son's. Pictures Don't do this place justice, looks alot better on person. Overall we had an amazing experience. I would totally recommend this place.

Relax and reconnect
A great place to relax and reconnect with family while enjoying the view of the lake. Plenty of open space to spread out and come together as desired. The home was clean, tidy, and had the basic kitchen ware needed to prepare an at home meal with multiple locations within driving distance for a grocery run or eating out. Host was available as needed and willing to address any issue should it arise. Bed were comfortable, living space was open, and porch was perfect for relaxing and watching the teens enjoy the water and the amenities. Neighbor hood was quiet and we felt comfortable at all times. We will definitely add this stay to our "favorite places to stay" list and return as soon as we can.
