HOT TUB w/ POOL, STREAM on 7 Acres, JUST 2 MINUTES FROM TOWN

FREE FIREWOOD supplied. Our saline pool is closed until Spring but our Hot Tub is OPEN! An amazing retreat in the woods, situated on 7 beautiful acres, but still only just 2 min from downtown Woodstock. Surrounded by mature trees and gently flowing stream, you will breathe deeply and relax. GREAT for kids: in addition to the heated pool -- open in season -- we have ping-pong, a basketball net, a doll's house with furniture!

You enter this stunning house and view its contemporary, modern style surrounded by windows, high ceilings and magnificent bluestone fireplace. The home is warm, inviting and thoughtfully furnished. It has 3BR, 3 baths, a fully stocked kitchen, fireplace, in-ground heated pool and hot tub, overlooking the stream!

The home is divided into two sections to allow for maximum privacy while still being able to socialize together. The North wing has a sun-drenched 2nd floor bedroom with a brand new queen bed and luxury mattress. There is a cozy living room + den and fully stocked kitchen with large farm table to gather around with friends. Adjacent is an additional seating area, bathed in sunlight from a row of windows, with a new couch that easily unfolds into a queen size bed.

In the South wing is a stunning space with 30' high ceilings contains a second seating/gathering area + a library. There is a mini ping pong table and sound system for added fun.

In this wing, there is an upstairs Master Bedroom and another guest bedroom downstairs. The master bedroom has a new king bed, luxury mattress and an en suite bath with a jetted tub. The downstairs guest bedroom has two twin beds which can be combined to be a queen size. There is a full bathroom off of this room. It features a private entrance leading to the pool, hot tub and garden.

Wonderful house secluded but near town
The house and property were great. Very comfortable house that felt like home with a well equipped kitchen, two living rooms, great beds, fireplace, and spa. Pool was closed since it was winter. The property is wooded and feels like being in your own private park but is only a few minutes from downtown. Highly recommended!

Absolutely Wonderful!
I cannot say enough about how wonderful not just the property but also the host was! The house and setting is just beautiful and full of character! The host does a wonderful job of ensuring the guests know what’s available to them in the house and provides a wonderful listing of restaurants and grocery stores in the area as well. I will definitely look to stay again in the future!

We loved our stay at this property - a classic "Woodstock" house with character and charm. For our family of 4, we all had our own space! Great piece of property and close proximity to town and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked for all cooking and baking needs.

wonderful stay in Woodstock
This property is on beautiful stream, surrounded by trees with a large enclosed back yard. The pool (closed as it was April when we stayed) and the hot tub are great extras. The house is bright and laid out in two wings which was great for our group of six adults, as we could move into our own space when we wanted. The kitchen is small but well-equipped. The owner was very easy to communicate with. I loved that I could bring my dogs. The location was ideal- down a very quiet road and very close to town. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home
We loved the house and the location was perfect. Bill was more than helpful for any questions that we had. Woodstock is a beautiful town and the house is 5 minutes away. The fenced in yard was great for our two pups! And the house was spacious for our family of 6!

Birthday mini vacation.
We had a wonderful time on this stunning property. So much wildlife to watch and scenery to look at. My son and husband loved the hot tub. And my puppies loved the big yard to run in. Having the fence in the back made me feel better letting them run and play. The layout of the house was perfect for us. The location is so close to town that last minute dinner plans were a cinch. Thank you Bill for a perfect stay.

Best vacation ever in Woodstock!
We have stayed in several homes in Woodstock. Nothing comes close to this house. The setting is beautiful. The house is spacious and very comfortable. The hot tub, pool and deck were in constant use when we were not off on an adventure. The owner was not only gracious and accomodating, but was fun to deal with! I hope he let's us come back!

Lovely Getaway close to town
We loved staying at this property. It is a unique property inside and out with everything well thought out. The two sides of the house and the secret passageways made it extra exciting for the kids (12 & 14). Sitting at the big table looking out the windows was very relaxing every morning. The instructions are very detailed and helpful. We also enjoyed the deer visiting each day (as did our dog). We hope to come back again - it was a perfect location for what we enjoy doing in the area.

Wonderful escape from the City
Our group of four + dog had a wonderful time in Bill and Rita's home. The house is located on a beautiful piece of property and conveniently located just minutes from the town of Woodstock. There are stunning views of the woods in nearly every room of the house. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well-equipped kitchen and drinking wine next to the cozy wood-burning fireplace. We were in great hands with Bill and Rita. We will definitely be back for another weekend.

Woodstock Haven W/Hot Tub, Fire Places & Stream
Our stay at the cabin was as great as it possibly could have been. The house is ample and nice, with privacy, all the amenities, comfort and beauty. The old part of the house, built in the sixties, is a little gem. Nature surrounds you and deers look at you while you're having morning coffee on the outside deck. The hot tub is a real treat. Everything else is just as advertised.

Quiet Paradise
This property is a little slice of paradise where the only sounds you'll hear are from the rushing stream out back. The pictures and description are true to the property and the house is very comfortable. The kitchen and pantry are well stocked, instructions for how to use the house are plentiful, and Bill provided great communication. We enjoyed stargazing in the hot tub with no ambient light interfering and watching deer, birds and rabbits while enjoying our morning coffee. The house is conveniently located to Woodstock, Saugerties and Kingston and a quick ride from many major highways, making for easy day trips or quick rides to fantastic restaurants.

Relaxing in Woodstock
So peaceful and so close to town. We loved our stay. The kids woke up to deer walking by the first morning, they played basketball, and ping pong. We woke up, had coffee by the stream and then relaxed in the hot tub. The home has everything you need for a relaxing stay and all instructions are clear. This home is so close into Woodstock, we had dinner at Goodnight, bought the best meat to grill at Woodstock Meats and stopped by our favorite home goods store Beck. We would love to come back when it’s pool season. Bill was also very responsive.

Wonderful Woodstock
This is a great find. The home and property are beautiful. Was there during very cold days of winter and the hot tub worked like a charm- house was very warm too. There are house rules made known after you commit to your stay. The house rules overall are quite reasonable - especially since the house is in such great shape. But perhaps those rules should be shared with the customer before to avoid unnecessary anxiety. I would recommend renting this house without any hesitation. The location to the town - the distance from other neighbors and the quality of the property all…. A plus! Thanks

A Short Family Getaway
Our party of five spent 3 nights at Bill & Rita's home. What you see and read in the home description is what you get. The home is clean and well maintained. We made good use of the kitchen which opens to the living area so the cook can both work and be part of the party. Each night we soaked our sore hiking muscles in the room for 5 adults hot tub. Finally if you go to Bill & Rita's bring your favorite CDs or just connect to Spotify or i-tunes, their music and sound system is a bonus.

Love This House!
My cousin rented this home for a our yearly summer family reunion. The house was perfect for us. It's separated into two wings so the children could sleep while the adults stayed up late :-) Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. For me, it was a "staycation" as I only live twenty minutes away, but it's such a unique property, seven acres of peace and serenity, and only a few minutes from town. Bill and Rita have thought of everything to make your stay extremely comfortable. You won't be disappointed. I really didn't want to leave!!!

Love this place!
My friends and I stayed at Bill's home in Woodstock and absolutely loved it. It had everything--plenty of room, a hot tub, nature, a fireplace, a kitchen well-stocked with pots and pans, and a grill outside. There's a pool, but as we were there in December, we (sadly) did not get to enjoy that. But we definitely want to go back in summer! The home was spotless and so comfortable. Bill was able to check us in and show us around. He had the hot tub clean and ready to go--some hosts leave the mixing of chemicals to the guest, but all we had to do was turn it up a few degrees. Overall, we had an awesome stay here and would highly recommend this spot!
