The 2-storey house boasts a light and airy kitchen, lounge, and dining room with picturesque views of the fields and ancient woods. Sip your morning coffee accompanied by squirrels, birds, pheasants and even a chance sighting of local deer from the living room and 2nd bedroom windows. Relax on the rear patio overlooking the serene surroundings, making this the ultimate countryside getaway.

The spacious living room offers a welcoming space for relaxation. It features two cosy double sofa beds, perfect for accommodating extra guests, a smart TV with Netflix, and direct access to the back garden through the conservatory, allowing plenty of natural light to fill the room.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, including an oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, and washing machine, providing everything needed for cooking meals at home or preparing a quick snack.

The private back and side garden is perfect for outdoor relaxation, and the driveway accommodates up to two cars located on the side of the house.

Take in the folklore surrounding Winston Churchill by visiting the local church and pub or burn off some energy with a run around Blenheim Palace. For those who love to walk, there are many great walking routes in the vicinity to discover.

Travel to any of the surrounding sights of interest by car or taxi, with the convenience of easy parking at Lemon Lodge in its automatic gated parking area. Just a 4-minute drive from Woodstock, 20 minutes from Soho Farmhouse, and 20 minutes from Bicester Village, there's an abundance of things to do in the area, such as antique shops, garden centres, outdoor swimming, kayaking, dog walking, and more. Lemon Lodge is perfectly placed on the edge of the Cotswolds, and it's just a short drive from the M40.

Public transportation is also an option, with the nearest train stations being Long Hanborough and Oxford Parkway, and Oxford being accessible too. Book a taxi from the destination to the Lodge, or take advantage of the local bus service that travels to and from nearby villages (just be sure to check the timetable, as schedules can vary).

Blenheim Palace hosts a variety of wonderful entertainment, including events and shows, as well as stunning grounds to explore.

Aside from Blenheim Palace, the village is surrounded by magical walks, including a bluebell forest just a 15-minute stroll through the fields. This is a great spot to visit with family or friends for a tranquil weekend away with lots of walks and nature. Bladon is also home to the grave of Churchill, which you can find in the village churchyard. Villagers believe that Churchill "learned to drink" in the local pub, The White House, which serves many local ales, good food, and has a lively beer garden.

While walking around Blenheim Palace, it's important to note that certain areas require a ticket for access, while others are free to walk through. If you have a ticket to a Blenheim event, be sure to check if it includes walking access to the palace grounds. Additionally, if you're interested in visiting the nearby Soho Farmhouse, it's recommended to pre-book your visit to ensure availability.

-Please remove your shoes inside the property and leave them in the hallway. This helps us keep the property clean and tidy for all guests.

-Please dispose of all waste in the correct bins in the driveway before check-out. Recycling bins will be provided and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping the property environmentally friendly.

-Please leave all used towels in the bathtub before check-out. This helps us to easily identify which towels need to be washed and ensures that our laundry process is as efficient as possible.
