"my stay at the red lion was great from the moment I walked in the door, the front desk clerk went above and beyond to make sure we received a good price for the room, she was great. I also meant the owner of the hotel and he also was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean they also have a great breakfast bag they offer as well as fresh coffee. They made sure to let us know if there was anything we needed to not hesitate to ask ... Everyone was very polite during our 2 night stay, I would recommend The Red Lion Inn to anyone it was a great stay. This will be the Hotel I stay at every time I come to vancouver to visit... Thank You "

"Basic hotel. Free breakfast buffet Room kinda smelled like cigarrtte smoke. Area has alot of homeless be aware of your surroundings after dark, dont forget to lock ur car. Overall, no major issues staff were friendly no deposit charge on card at check-in! "

"This hotel provides good value for downtown Vancouver with restaurants, bars and a gas station close by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of options included in the free breakfast. The only negative was an odd smell in our room. We got used to it after a few minutes and didn’t bother mentioning it to the hotel."
