"I wanted a cozy retreat from DC over the holiday, and this was perfect. The dog loved running around the lot and taking walks around the vineyard. I loved the views of the pond, the eagles, and having plenty of space for puzzles, drawing, and reading. I took a speaker for tunes. No wifi but my cell worked fine, as did my hot spot. "We enjoyed this fabulous home in December to celebrate a family friendly 40th birthday. The house had plenty of room, beautiful views and all the amenities. We had four families-each adult couple had their own room on the main floors and the children all fit perfectly in the nicely finished basement. There were plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the necessities. We also enjoyed the nearby local breweries/restaurants that had lots of room for our big group. "

"If I could give the property 10 stars I would! The place was absolutely amazing. It was very clean and I loved the layout. "We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful property, that our 4 year old affectionately nicknamed "The Lincoln Log House". From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was beautifully decorated and is very well taken care of, the photos dont do it justice. And we have stayed at many rental properties over the years, and this house was the cleanest house we've ever stayed at. Usually even if a house looks clean when you walk around barefoot your feet get dirty...not this house!...

"The photos of this property do not do it justice- it is absolutely beautiful. The privacy is so nice, and the house itself was wonderful. We had our adult children there for Christmas dinner- and I’m quite sure they will be renting this house in the future. Also the mattresses and linens were very comfortable- which is impressive in any vacation rental. This is a treasure nestled in the country."
