The Space:
Kawal Tiny House is located at the entrance to the main property and set back in a secluded area to ensure your well-deserved privacy, surrounded by native bushland, gum trees, and rock formations that blend into the landscape.
A comfortable Wollombi accommodation of 139 square feet, both an hour's drive away from Newcastle and Sydney. Nearby Wollombi Tavern, Pokolbin State Forest, and only a 30-45 minute drive to Stonehurst Cedar Creek, Bistro Molines Hunter Valley, Mount Bright Lookout, and Hunter Valley Wildlife Park are just a few of the attractions available.
All with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except the land host's private residence or main property. The main property is fully fenced and we ask that our guests do not come on to the main property unless invited to do so.

Kawal Tiny House sits in the historic town of Wollombi, both an hour's drive away from Newcastle and Sydney. A village with several great restaurants, cafes, artisan stores, and a famous pub for visitors to casually hang out. Along with numerous walks and trails to explore, all within a less than 1 km walk to the village.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- We also have rescue dogs separated by a fence from the tiny house, all of which are friendly but may bark when they first meet you
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Please note that the tiny house is located about 50 metres from a cottage that is rented out privately on a permanent basis
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
