"We had a great 1-night stay in March 2025. The service from the staff was impeccable and we were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy, and functional with a very large bathroom. The included amenities (indoor pool, steam room, jacuzzi) and complimentary breakfast was outstanding. We would definitely stay again."

"Clean hotel, communal areas are lovely and breakfast is great. Our room was not as I’d expected. It was small and was worn with chips in furniture and cold! I asked for extra bedding and this was provided, I was also offered a heater for the room as the radiator was not working. I can’t see how the room could have been described as delux double as it was an attic room and the sloping walls meant a mirror couldn’t be hung above the sink so shaving was difficult. "

"Hotel Abode is located in the heart of Canterbury on High Street its main thoroughfare and within walking distance of most major sights and great dining. The breakfasts at the hotel were excellent. The staff was polite and very responsive. A great stay!"

"This hotel was acceptable for the price, it is very tired looking and dated, the breakfast was good with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, natural yogurt, toast, fresh coffee, tea, orange juice, full English, croissants, ham and cheese baguette. We didn’t try the food at other meal times. There was a full bar which was reasonably priced. Lift to all floors. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially the waitress at breakfast, unfortunately I don’t recall her name...

"Amazing, some of the best food I’ve ever had"

"Lovely old character style hotel. Friendly staff in reception let my colleague and I have a few holes of golf before sunset with no charge. Well priced drinks and food. The lady serving in the bar was grumpy but that was the only negative. Would highly recommend "
