"The house is very beautifull and wel equiped, everything you might possibly need is there. The rooms are even more beautifull than the pictures show. Only the communication with the owner and the housekeeper was difficult. It was not clear for us how to check out and in. And we received a strange SMS message from the housekeeper that we had to pay 100 euro extra, which was not true..."

"Excellent location for exploring Alsace. I did not realise how beautiful the village would be. Lots of places to eat and a bar next to the Marie open until 7pm for a cold beer or wine. The house is terrific. All mode cons you need and a car park close by monitored by security cameras. "8 of us stayed and found the property exactly as detailed. Bedrooms were all large with comfortable beds and excellent bedding, bathrooms with great showers. "We stayed for 1.5 weeks in this very pleasant cottage. It has a small kitchen on the ground floor, lounge and dining table on the first floor and a nice bedroom in the attic. The cottage is newly refurbished with new wooden floorboards and beams complementing the original 18th-century ones which gives it a nice atmosphere. The cottage is only a few minutes' walk from the vineyards and the dozens of well-marked trails that criss-cross the Alsace region, including the GR5 route. Barr serves well...

"I would say our stay was fine for 1 night although I think overpriced for what you get. The location isn’t the best, had to drive to get to a restaurant. There is no A/C or fans in the room and having the window open made it way to loud to sleep from all the street noise and the people drinking and making noise at the front of the building.
