"We rented the property for a week. We came from the US and were pleasantly surprised. The place was wonderful, clean and had all that was needed. Mr. Sittler was attentive and very nice. Very close to the wine road and a small walk to a very nice restaurant. We will definitely return and highly recommend the place."

"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"At first the owner could not meet us the agreed at check-in time. We had to protest in order to check-in as planned. The we were criticised for the state of the property, by mail after we had left , - the owner were not present at check-out time. We had only slept, eaten breakfast and showered."

"We were very happy and satisfied with our stay. The house is big and all necessary amenities are there. Perfect if you are looking for a relaxing time! The only slightly negative is that it can get VERY warm (in summer) in the top sleeping quarters."

"A spacious, well-equipped house, easy to find and with great access to attractions like Ecomusée d'Alsace, Cité de l'Auto in Mulhouse and cities to visit like Strasbourg, Basel and Freiberg. "Good sized room with comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Just a few minutes walk to the old city center, which was perfect to view the Christmas decorations and Christmas markets. We didn’t swim, but the pool would be a great plus in summer. Staff was efficient, although not overly friendly. Decor in room was nothing special, but overall, the hotel was good value for the money."

"Near the Colmar train station and centre of bus network. Very clean, well-run and organized. Very good breakfast (extra). Front desk staff very helpful, fluent in English and German too. Indoor pool looked wonderful but I didn't use it. This property is most suited to families, and is self-catering with small stove, fridge, dishes, pots and dishwasher; there is no daily supply of towels or bedsheets.
