It's in a fantastic location close to the city centre of Colmar, and the apartment is a lovely, quirky apartment in a converted container. The terrace is an extra bonus. "I had a terrible experience with Villa 12 Guesthouse. I traveled a long way from US to Swiss (Villa 12 is on the border between Swiss and France), and had to work on the arriving day, so I got at the Villa 12 Guesthouse around 8:30pm, that is very normal time for a hotel/Guesthouse check-in time. But to my surprise, the main Gate of the Villa 12 is tightly closed, and the guesthouse building looks dark, did not seem there were people living in it. "Our apartment was definitely a lot more dated than the one shown in the Hotels.com pictures, so that’s a bit misleading. Second room with the bunk bed actually had no window for example. However, for an overnight stop to accommodate five people I think the ResidHotel still offers good value. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The lad at reception could not have been more helpful, and the location is pretty good. We also used their secure onsite parking. "
