We arrived on a Sunday evening and shops are closed in France. A welcome pack with a few essentials would be appreciated. Listing on VRBO advised that towels were provided, none in the gite, not even a tea towel for drying up. "Maison avec beaucoup de charme et très agréable. Lave linge en panne à l’arrivée et sans réparation annoncée … dommage! Quelques tasses petit déjeuner et verres à pied seraient les bienvenus, de même qu’un ménage un peu plus poussé. Mais mis à part ces petites choses tout était très bien."

"Although we have been to Northern France on numerous occasions this was a first, and it did not disappoint. Large property accommodating our party of 3 adults and 3 children (9-14). Enough bedrooms for all and a well equipped kitchen and a large loungec dine with all the cutlery and glasses you could wish for. "We loved this place. Madame Berthe is kind and welcoming. The property has everything a family of six needs and we loved exploring the local area, especially its beaches. The swing set didn't seem to be in use despite the photos but it didn't affect out stay. We will visit again."
