"Really lovely hotel. You needed to request a kettle and return it at check out. Where’s the coffee machine was in situ. They offered a fridge with complimentary drinks, but they were standard, I have food intolerances which meant that half the drinks were of no use to me. So it would have been better to have a choice. The swimming pool and spa was lovely. But most of the sauna and steam rooms were for access of 16+ and nude, which wasn’t ideal for a single mother. My daughter is only 8. The...

"The location of this lodge, at the base of the Eiger mountain as well as Grindelwald terminal was perfect! My daughter and I had an amazing time. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the restaurant served delicious food and this all made our first visit to Switzerland a memorable one. We will be back! "

"What a beautiful place to stay!! Right on the beautiful lake and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town. Also 5 minutes from Interlaken West which you walk along a quiet road to get to the hotel - very nice since the town itself can be busy. "That was one of the best hotel accommodation we ever had before. They upgraded up to honeymoon room and it had hands down the best view over the Lucern! The rooms were large and clean. We even ended up to buy breakfast there because it was decent for the money they charge."

"The room was small with a balcony that had view to nowhere. but the room was very clean, beds were comfy and the bathroom was big and very clean. The kitchenette with dish washing machine and microwave made the room a cozy and handy place to stay."

But before I got all the information to get in etc ., it is a nice place ., but we were 6 3 adults and 3 teens ., as soon as I do the booking I put this complete information (6 Total) ., we don’t have enough beds to sleep that was an issue ,. "Don’t bother looking to stay anywhere else than the Hotel Central when visiting Luzern; it’s conveniently situated a short walk from both the station and Old Town. The staff were all delightful and went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The generous and delicious breakfasts were a great start to the day and it was great to be able to enjoy complimentary (good) coffee at any time. The rooms were perfectly comfortable and very clean - all in all our visit to Luzern was made all the better for staying at Hotel Central. "
