I was looking for a unique place to stay that didn’t feel like a generic international hotel chain. This place preserves the character of the old mansion, while pairing it with cleanliness and good upkeep, along with amazing hospitality. Would definitely return!! "

"The property was really clean and modern! Wonderful! Would totally come back again and really recommend. The most difficult part was that we arrived on a weekend and there isn’t anyone at reception. we also arrived quite late in the day and we weren’t able to access the property to then use their landline to call them and check-in. We managed to find a phone number on an e-mail we had and the guy we spoke to was so lovely, he gave us the code to get inside the building and helped us check-in. I would recommend for this code to be already in the booking confirmation e-mail. "

"The hotel was very, very clean and up. Kept for being over 300 years old. I love the building and the surrounding area. Every place in town was easily walkable. Plenty of activities to do water in front for water taxi's. Transportation to surrounding areas very easily accessible and very cheap using water. And buses for transportation."
