"Our goal was to find a place in Bangor we could call home for a week and we took daily trips to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Belfast, etc. This home away from home was perfect. I wish it had a dishwasher, but we survived. Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood, and close to the restaurants and fish markets we went to. It was very functional for the type of trip we planned. Worked perfectly."

"What a perfect little getaway to Maine. Donna and Dave are the most welcoming hosts. You will feel at home staying here. They have a comfy bed, kayaks to use, hot tub and a bbq. The lake is beautiful and we got to see our very own sunrise from it. It’s about 45 minutes to Acadia but an easy straight ride and local for all that you need. We will come again. "This was a great choice for our two night stay in Belfast. Short walk to town and also a short walk to the grocery store. The place itself was cozy and decorated with a cabin feel. Full kitchen if needed. It was very well done Please note the two bedrooms and lone bathroom are up a spiral staircase. This may be a problem if you have mobility issues. "John and Barbara are the best hosts. I use their property every fall for when I am closing my camp. They are the best hosts ever. They give you the best greeting when you arrive and are willing to help if needed. The cabin is so sweet. I absolutely love how cozy it is. The little kitchen is perfect for cooking at the cabin. And there is enough little counter space to do a small puzzle! I am so grateful they take care of me in my camp closing."
