Just perfect

My son and I stayed for a 4 night, 3 day ski vacation. The condo is just as described and very comfortable and convenient for skiing in WP. From the electric tea kettle, ski locks, water pressure, everything we needed was there.Owners were extremely responsive and beyond helpful in helping me get my suitcase home after the airline delivered it after our departure.

Owners provided great communication and the condo was exactly as described! Only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance during our stay, but the owner did let us know ahead of time so we appreciated that.

Perfect Snowboard Getaway

This condo was perfect for our snowboard getaway. We could access a green route from our building to get to the base of Winter Park to take the gondola up the mountain. After a long day of snowboarding, it was easy access to an outdoor hot tub to soak our tired muscles. The condo itself had everything that we needed (pots, pans, basic spices, and a comfy bed). It was clean and well cared for. The instructions to get in and out of the condo were sent to us the night before our arrival and were thorough. We had no doubts about how to access parking, the building, or the mountain.We can't wait to book again!

Great stay at the Iron Horse place was very clean and centrally located to the slopes so we could literally ski in and ski out of the resort. The amenities were awesome pool, hot tub etc. we will be back.

The location of this particular unit in the condo building was nearly perfect. Clean. Well kept. And easy to cook a few meals in the kitchen with the provided seasonings. Would definitely stay here again.

Hung Our Hats

Iron Horse 2014 was where we hung our hats while doing the Alpine Art Affair art show in Winter Park. Wec were ther four nights. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and the instructions for the TVs were fine. There is a nice patio outside and interesting rocks in the retaining wall: pink K-feldspar pegmatite with black biotite. It's a nice place but long access codes for the complex drove me nuts.

Great location, good value

This is a decent small condo with a great ski-in ski-out location. We would probably stay here again if coming to WP. Communication with the owners about check in was great - they were very responsive to questions. The unit is a great size for two people and a bit cramped for 4 adults, but would work for a family with a couple small children if you can navigate one bathroom. Kitchen is fully equipped and everything worked. There is a nice small pool, two sizeable hot tubs and a nice gym on the property. Overall the unit is dated but mostly in reasonable shape although showing its age in a few places. The couch really needs to be replaced (you sink in)and the 20” TV in the living room was a surprise but did not really matter to us. (The bedroom TV is even smaller). The bathroom was small but updated; however, there is a moisture/leakage problem that I hope the owners are addressing.

Great Location

Iron Horse is located right next to the mountain. Really is ski in to back door. Unit is a bit dated and couch and murphy bed padding are wearing out. The kitchen was well stocked but dishes, pans, and glass are miss matched. Bedroom does not have a bathroom connected to it. You have to walk through the living room around murphy bed in the night. Also TV in bedroom was very small and did not work. There were no directions in the unit about how to use the TV's and internet as advertised. The owner did provide internet code and was reachable during our stay. Common area with pool and hot tubs and lockers rooms were nice. Automated entry is nice but you have to use a 7 digit code to get in the room and another 12 digit code to get into the building and pool area. Also system is time sensitive so we had to use a temporary code to get in before 4pm on check in day and another code for day we left because we skied till 330pm. Owner was very accommodating about the codes and allowing us to check in early and leaving car in the garage last day and ski . There is a nice locker room to shower and change if you want to ski day you arrive and day you leave then go to the airport.

Winter Park stay at the Iron Horse

This rental was great for our young family as an affordable last minute option for our family trip to Winter Park. A great view out the window, close to Winter Park resort for a day at the alpine slides and right across the street from scenic hikes. The kids loved ending their days in the game room as well. The entire complex was nice and quiet as well as easy to get around. The pool was pretty dirty and I would recommend bringing your own pillows. Overall we had a great time here.

Great place for ski vacation

We very much enjoyed our stay in the app for a week of skiing in April. App has everything needed. Few steps and an elevator ride and you are on the slopes. Beds are very comfortable and a wonderful shower with the highest water pressure I ever saw. Parking garage is a great way to store the car for a few rides to supermarket, without having to clean up snow and ice. We hope to be back.
