We had a Pastoral Retreat at this beautiful home, and we all absolutely loved it! The home has PLENTY of rooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. Everything was really nice.
The home is beautiful and located in a wonderful area. The host provided important information in the event of an emergency. The home accommodated for all my guests.
Overall, the house was respectable. The kitchen was nice, plenty of room, the only issue was the downstairs bathrooms are old and small. We did have an issue with the downstairs AC on day one, but the Property Manager, Lisa Castro worked her tail off trying to get it fixed even up until 2:30am in the morning. Her response was excellent, and it was a simple fix, but it did require an AC tech to fix the next day.

Not so lake front, lake front Oasis
The house was beautiful but not on the lake. There was two roads and a green space park betweeen the house and lake. It is also not private access. It was merely a public boat launch. I would of selected a home actually on the lake had i know before hand. We felt duped
We stayed for a weekend with extended family for a family wedding. 10 adults and 5 children ages 2-7.
PROS:
- Plenty of room for everyone - everyone had a bed
- Surprise pack and play which came in handy
- Awesome game room
- Beds were very comfortable, multiple people commented on how well they slept!
- Kitchen had a lot of spices and cookware
- Good location
- Pretty clean for the most part for a house this old.
- Newer appliances
CONS:
- Bedroom #3 with the single double bed was not truly a bedroom, it was basically a bed in an alcove off the upstairs hallway with NO DOOR. That was not explained in the listing.
- Pool was very dirty. Algae on the bottom, needed vacuuming and skimming. And it was very cold.
- Bathrooms were tight with very little counter space and in inconvenient places
- No strainer for draining pasta
- Back patio and yard needs some love: cut the grass, sweep off the patio, replace furniture cushions (they were disgusting), and get rid of wasp nests.
Overall it was great for what we needed it for. Would have liked for the pool to be more usable for the kids (which is the primary reason we booked this place).
Shout out to the photographer for this listing. He made this property much more enticing than it really is in person. This is not a bad property. We had a total of 11 adults and 1 child here for five nights with no issues with sleeping arrangements (4 couples, 1 couple with child, and 1 adult). We stayed here because it was a convenient location between our family members and did not plan to go anywhere for the Thanksgiving weekend. (I4 traffic is miserable. 90 minute drive for a 30 mile distance)
That being said, there are some things to note before reserving. For starters, bring your own stuff. All of it. The house advertises to sleep 21 but has dishes and forks for 4. Be prepared to do some light cleaning upon arrival. The coffee water reservoir was full of mold, there were old meatballs on top of the fridge, pool was full of leaves, outdoor trash can half full of trash, that type of stuff. It appears to me that this home has been a rental property for a decade without anyone who cares about it checking on it. Heat pump for pool wasn't working propane fire pit didn't work, hand mixer didn't work, Game room TV remote didn't work, air hockey table has seen better days, etc. Again, none of these are deal breakers, but for the price we paid for the weekend it was a little depressing. The home needs a good refresh to liven it up some. Surprised there was so much road construction around the home.
TLDR: Good home, sleeps 6 couples with ease, needs love.

Not as Nice as the Pictures buyer beware!
We arrived for a 3 day stay and the downstairs AC was not working. The AC was not fixed until the last evening of the stay. It was 84 degrees downstairs. We had to pay for one guest to get a hotel as it was too hot. We suffered in the only other downstairs bedroom with no privacy. See below.
The pool was a stagnate mess, this was not fixed until 4:30 the next day and was not swimmable until the following morning. Which was our last day and our daughters wedding so we could not use it at all.
The primary bedroom downstairs has CLEAR GLASS DOORS. Anyone walking to the downstairs bathroom can see right into the room, the bed, the bathroom the whole room, the bed was cheap and squeaky.
Three of the 4 full bathrooms are downstairs. So almost everyone sleeping upstairs (18) has to come down stairs to use the shower and use the bathroom.
One of the queen bedrooms is not a bedroom it is a bed on the landing of the stairs in the main upstairs hall way. We purchased a hotel room for the guests we assigned to this bedroom as soon as we arrived.
There is an outdoor shower that has been leaking the concrete under it is covered in slime and mold. None of the bathrooms have been updated. Stick down tiles are coming up, poorly caulked cracked tiles, just gave an UGH feeling, like your dirtier post shower.
We had to buy 2 extra hotel rooms for 3 days for $850 it was hot, no pool. But the owner was nice enough to refund $400 of the $2500 spent on this train wreck.
