The Shawnee Creek Hideaway sits on three (3) acres and is located on the spring fed Shawnee Creek. We are five minutes to downtown Eminence and the Jacks Fork River. Rocky Falls, Alley Mill and Spring, Klepzig Mill, Peck Ranch (Elk), other springs and the Current River are a short drive from the house. You can also catch a glimpse of the nearby wild horse herds if you know where to look!
Floating and fishing the Ozark National Scenic Riverways of the Jacks Fork and Current Rivers is a Missouri summer tradition! A local canoe/kayak/raft company will even pick your group up at the house and drop you off after your float!
Hundreds of miles of horse trails are but a short drive from the house. We offer four (4) covered horse stalls (10’x10’) for you to board your horses after your ride, and while you enjoy the area.
We have 30 amp and 50 amp outlets for your camper or horse trailer while you stay.
Tens of thousands of acres of Missouri Conservation Department managed, and National Forest managed lands await you to enjoy riding your ATVs/UTVs right from the house. Shannon County and Eminence are ATV/UTV friendly. Forest roads and nearby trails are accessible right from the house.
This spacious, beautiful home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The home sleeps 4-6 comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bath, along with a handicap accessible Jacuzzi style tub, a walk-in shower, and a workspace (If you feel the need to work while you’re here). One of the bedrooms has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds.
We have televisions in the living room and all bedrooms ready to enjoy your streaming services. Free Wi-Fi will keep you in-touch when you need to be.
The Shawnee Creek Hideaway is handicap accessible with a large screened in front porch for entertaining. The large modern pole barn is perfect for storing your canoes, kayaks, and ATVs/UTVs when not in use. The barn also acts as a great gathering spot, with a dart board, putting green, cornhole board, ping pong table, and foosball table for your use. A large Weber grill is located under the barn overhang.
A huge, rock firepit sits along the banks of the spring fed Shawnee Creek. Listen to the water ripple through the rocks as the fire crackles!
