Location was fine. Desk clerk very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not what I normally see. It was a motel for people working in the area. Good location on main street but also close to busy railroad. Several trains throughout the night. Got what we paid for

Disappointing with deferred maintenance. After we checked in then we learned that electric service was partially out in most hotel rooms so we had no vanity/bathroom lighting. They had called someone to “fix” this (which we learned after we checked in near 6pm). I believe it was wrong to rent us such an uninhabitable room at the time but in any case this issue should have been disclosed to us prior to checking us in. We didn’t get a refund (hence this verified review) and instead booked a different hotel for the night which was great.

It’s a little outdated but the cleanliness of the rooms is exceptional. The staff is the absolute best I have ever encountered! I would definitely stay there again!

Southwestern College Visit
Super clean room. USB ports on the light scones. Updated shower head. The only minus was the noisy AC unit. Comfy bed, too. This is an old motel, but it was on the Main Street, convenient to restaurants and shops. And the price was affordable.

Econlodge Winfield, Kansas
Trains running adjacent to the hotel blasting their air horns ensured sleep was enterrupted nightly as well as the road traffic next to the motel. Motel is really dated and in need of a complete update. The stay at the motel was based on reviews offered by this website. What a joke. Drove 400 miles to stay here to attend a Memorial Service at the Veterans Cemetery, and to stay at this motel was a big big disappointment.
