"My siblings and families stayed for a relaxing weekend. Views of sunset on the lake were gorgeous. Very well stocked kitchen. We were able to make all kinds of food. Host was very responsive and accommodating. House was clean and had more rooms than expected. Would definitely return! The screened in room has lovely views but it has to be warm enough to open all the window shades and expose the screens. Close to stores and restaurants.Fantastic stay!"

"I absolutely loved this spot. I had such a great time and I actually miss it! I especially love the trails behind the inn. I had no idea that it was Pequot territory. It is really marvelous. Great to walk on. Not too hard, not too easy, tons of history, and a real sense of the sacred nature of Lantern Hill. I highly recommend."

"The Lake House was super enjoyable, nice and quiet, on the beautifully frozen beach pond. We enjoyed the sauna as well, just a few steps away. My partner and I stayed with another couple and we had a great weekend reset together here. The propane fireplace is so nice to just sit in front of and relax."

"This property is completely misrepresented! I sent pictures in an email to someone named Luis two days ago. 1. Home is on a gravel road and you need to walk down a steep hill to get to the house. 2. House is covered in cob webs inside and out and windows are dirty and covered in green mold. 3. Two queen beds listed turned out to be full size mattresses (we measured!) so that my husband and I had to sleep in separate rooms. 4. "This was a great spot to stay with my wife, another couple, and my dog! The house is small - especially downstairs. But it is extremely well thought out and space is used as effectively as can be. Upstairs had 2 good sized bedrooms with king beds and a nicely renovated bathroom with a great shower. The house is located in a small, cute, and a bit of an unusual neighborhood. Very quiet. "This property was accurately advertised and didn't disappoint. Having stayed at several cabins/B&Bs in Connecticut previously, this one was excellent. Check-in was seamless, the space was a good size with all necessary amenities, and it was conveniently located near attractions. Communication was prompt and helpful, even with minor questions. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable getaway from NYC."

"We were a little nervous upon arrival, it was exceptionally cold that day Dec 22nd, 2 deg at night ,and we were afraid it wouldn't heat up. However, between the heat pumps and the electric fireplace, it became toasty! Very convenient, 2 bathrooms great !We would definitely book again !"
