"Excellent breakfast, delicious coffee, clean and updated hotel and room, and friendly staff. The bed was good but not super comfortable for me. Also, we stayed in a room with a walk-in shower. The shower curtain was very lightweight, so it would sway in and stick to your body as you showered. That was a bit frustrating. "

"Absolutely loved our stay! Comfortable and cozy! Felt like we were staying in the Ingalls little house, but with modern conveniences. It really was a hidden gem! Can’t recommend enough! My only feedback is that the master bed wasn’t super comfy. Great stay and great host"

"My brother and our families (4 adults, 5 teens) stayed at the Hideaway along with our 2 dogs. Great place! Plenty of comfortable beds for all to have their own space. Living room area and the large dining table was great for playing board games. The dogs (and kids) loved running around in the woods and around the lake. The kitchen is massive, with plenty of room for multiple people to cook and well stocked with every type of pan, utensil or sharp knife you might need! We definitely will put this on our list to return to when the weather is warmer and we can swim in the lake!"
