"Every member of staff we had contact with (reception, bar and breakfast) were so lovely and welcoming. My son who is 4 and has SEN needs finds it difficult in new places, and all the staff just allowed him to be a little boy with no judgement being passed, which as a SEN mother means so much, they all put me immediately at ease. The room was made up with a separate bed for my son too! The dinner we had was adjusted to suit his beige eating habits. There was nothing that was too much! "

"I don’t think we have ever been to such a good hotel for dogs. How lovely to have a comfortable and plush separate dining room to enjoy food with the dogs. How lovely to have the big garden so accessible and what a beautiful hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. I would just like to comment about breakfast. The first morning. Chose a selection for English breakfast. But just because you don’t want tomato and mushroom and hash brown for example, shouldn’t mean that you only get half a plate of food. If you only ask for sausage and beans and Egg then surely give two sausages and a bit more egg. My daughter was hungry after that breakfast. The plates are cold and the brekkie Luke warm. The second morning they gave our tea and coffee to another table and we had to wait ages. The food order came out wrong and there were many people complaining - missing food - forgotten food. The continental breakfast buffet was not replenished once used and there were still guests coming in. The fact that there were 170 guests is no excuse for a seamless breakfast. A hotel breakfast is the mark of a hotel. The drinks are very expensive which is a shame but from a constructive perspective I hope that you take a fresh look at the breakfast experience "

"Fantastic Hotel in the centre of Stratford. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We stayed in room 706 which was a Premium King room which was huge and had all the amenities you could ask for. Snacks & drinks (including beer and cider) in the room all included in the price. Will definitely return. Great value for money. "

"A lovely hotel full of character. Our room was clean, had a new bathroom and overlooked the beautiful garden too which was a bonus. Breakfast was a perfect spread of cooked food and continental. Staff were all very friendly. Location is perfect, right in the town centre and an added bonus of free parking! Loved my stay."

"An excellent stay. Very convenient for being tourists in Stratford. A very comfortable and well appointed room. An excellent breakfast really well presented. All staff very enthusiastic and very customer focused. Well done to all concerned. Only downsides were 1) very low water pressure meaning that you had to ‘run around’ in the shower to get wet, and 2) little or no soundproofing between rooms - we could hear distinct conversations within adjoining rooms (even though the guests were certainly not excessively noisy)"
