"Whatif email confirmed check-in was at noon but the room was still being cleaned on arrival (approximately 1215pm) and we were advised by staff that check-in isn't usually until after 2pm, obviously there has been some kind of communication error inbetween. Outside of that the room was comfortable and clean, internet was a little slow but it works, the microwave was appreciated but the dish wasn't the original so didn't always turn, and the bottom of the bathroom door was a bit rotten, mostly...

"The room in this old hotel was as described, clean and comfortable enough. Our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed having the spillover space of the common room for breakfast and games (& we happened to have it to ourselves). The pub meal was good, and we didn’t mind the reasonable evening noise from the pub. The Wilmington Hotel met our expectations."
