Had a great weekend trip to Wilmington / Wrightsville beach during our stay at the Yak Shack! Brittany and Ryan were very attentive hosts and sent us lots of recommendations for the area (since it was our first time visiting Wilmington). The place was clean and cute, just what we needed for the weekend getaway! Will definitely be returning :)

Concert Weekend
Adorable cottage. Easy walk to Live Oak Pavilion for a concert. Hosts have created a fantastic hidden gem. We will absolutely stay with them for our next trip to Wilmington.

The Yak Shack was a perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a weekend trip to visit family close by. Everything was pristine in the apartment. We had an awesome stay at the Yak Shack for a visit to Wilmington for music and a show. Our room was comfortable, cozy and clean. The space was great, and the neighborhood was quiet. The riverfront walkway was close by for a walk and places to eat and it was a convenient drive to the Wilson center for our show.

We loved our stay there. Close to everything. This is a beautiful property. The owners were perfect. It has everything you need down to shampoo, conditioner, and coffee. I would totally stay there again. The bed was extra cozy also. Recommend A++++++

Say yes to the Yak Shack
Super clean & private studio above detached garage by hosts that clearly care. Beautiful 10 min walk through the historic district to the Riverfront. Easy on street parking in front of property. Looking forward to staying again, thanks!

Fantastic Stay
Look no further! The Yak Shack was perfect for our stay in Wilmington. Very comfortable, private, and so close (yet just far enough away to be quiet) to the waterfront and many restaurants. Ryan and Brittany are wonderful hosts- great communication throughout and lots of nice touches in the Yak Shack. We will stay again. Thank you Ryan and Brittany!

We Love the Yak Shack!!
Thank you for a wonderful home away from home in Wilmington! The carriage house is perfect…from the most cozy bed ever to the most lovely decor! The location is so convenient to downtown, and the drive to Wrightsville Beach is 15 minutes. The property manager is amazing!

A Hidden Gem
We had a short stay at The Yak Shack to kick off our retirement vacation. Brittany & Ryan were perfect hosts. Their space is immaculate, beautifully decorated and everything you need to be completely comfortable. We’ve only been gone a day and have been raving to many people about them & The Yak Shack. Great location, close to everything and right in beautiful, historic Wilmington. Thanks for everything Brittany & Ryan~ we’ll be back!!
