Had a great weekend trip to Wilmington / Wrightsville beach during our stay at the Yak Shack! Brittany and Ryan were very attentive hosts and sent us lots of recommendations for the area (since it was our first time visiting Wilmington). We had an awesome stay at the Yak Shack for a visit to Wilmington for music and a show. Our room was comfortable, cozy and clean. The space was great, and the neighborhood was quiet. The riverfront walkway was close by for a walk and places to eat and it was a convenient drive to the Wilson center for our show.

Fantastic Stay
Look no further! The Yak Shack was perfect for our stay in Wilmington. Very comfortable, private, and so close (yet just far enough away to be quiet) to the waterfront and many restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home in Wilmington! The carriage house is perfect…from the most cozy bed ever to the most lovely decor! The location is so convenient to downtown, and the drive to Wrightsville Beach is 15 minutes. The property manager is amazing!

A Hidden Gem
We had a short stay at The Yak Shack to kick off our retirement vacation. Brittany & Ryan were perfect hosts. Adorable apartment in the Historic district
The Yak Shack was perfect for a weekend in Wilmington. The location in the historic district is perfect to walk to Water Street and enjoy the river front and Front street with great restaurants and night life. Right around the corner is the fun and hip Castle Street with restaurants, cafes, and vintage shops. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with a king sized bed, lovely bathroom, and everything you could need for your stay. The hosts, Brittany and Ryan were very friendly responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends and family.
