In the event that we already have a guest checking out on the day you are checking in, or checking in on the day you are checking out we will need to adjust the check-in or check-out time by one hour to allow sufficient time for the Housekeeper. Our key-less lock system eliminates picking up keys, dropping off keys, losing keys or getting locked out! You will be given a code to access the front and back door locks during your stay. However, as in anywhere, we do suggest you not leave valuables in your cars and keep them locked. We will provide you with the code to the locks prior to your arrival. No keys to pick up or drop off. We can be reached by e-mail and phone which will be provided you after booking. Bancroft Cottage is situated in a safe and desirable neighborhood just a little north of downtown Wilmington. You will find recommendations of restaurants and other activities with the Instructions provided with your Agreement. Wilmington has a train and bus station, but getting around is easiest by car. There are restaurants within walking distance. Bring your toothbrush ... most everything else is there waiting for you.
