Welcome to FUN IN THE SUN. Our 6-bedroom home has everything you need to relax and have fun. From the outdoor 40’x18’ inground saltwater pool, ping pong table, corn hole, croquet, and bikes to the inside pool table & foose ball table, there is something to keep the entire group entertained.

We are located in the center of everything Wilmington has to offer:
- Walking distance to Mayfaire Town Center (or 7-minute bike ride)
- 5 minute drive to UNCW
- 8 minute drive to the shores of beautiful Wrightsville Beach (or 25-minute bike ride)
- 10 minute drive to downtown Wilmington Riverfront/Riverwalk.

The space
This home has been completely renovated in 2021 with all new flooring, paint, kitchen & furniture.
Featuring granite countertops, high end appliances, and super comfortable beds. High speed internet & cable TV provided. Comfortably sleeps 14.

Downstairs has 3 bedrooms:
- Coral room with a Queen with an adjoining ½ bathroom.
- Yellow room with 2 twin beds.
- Lavender room/office with a full-size futon, desk, chair and printer.
- There is one full bathroom with shower accessible to all the bedrooms.
- Living room with a sectional sofa and 65-inch smart TV
- Open Kitchen is well stocked with seating at the island and a dining area that seats 8. Additional wicker dining set for 4 in the patio room.
- Adjacent to open Kitchen in the Patio/Playroom is an extra dining table with seating for 4.
- Patio/Playroom leading out to the backyard, has a comfortable oversized wicker seating area (perfect for after dinner drinks), 8’ pool table, and 43-inch smart TV. Even have a speaker available to connect to Music.

Upstairs features:
- 2 large master bedrooms both with King beds and each with spacious full baths.
- The Media or “6th” bedroom with a pull out queen sofa and a pull out full size loveseat, large closet and a pocket door for privacy! This room has a 75-inch smart TV (perfect for games or late-night movies) and a fooseball table.
- Upstairs also includes the laundry room and numerous oversized closets.

The Outdoor area
- Front porch with 2 rocking chairs and ceiling fans.
- The ½ acre back yard has a 40’x18’ inground sateater Pool w/Pool house containing, fridge, small kitchen & storage.
- Plenty of Lounge Chairs for sunning on the concrete patio surrounding the 40’x18’ inground pool or sit under the umbrella at the outdoor dining table. Charcoal & Gas grills provided.
- Hammock for relaxing after the day at the beach
- Plenty of room for corn hole and croquet as well as Ping Pong table for set up on concrete patio. Also have picnic table.

Neighborhood
We are in an established, safe, quiet, neighborhood. We have wonderful neighbors and request that all guests always be respectful of our neighbors. The City of Wilmington has a noise ordinance after 9 pm which is strictly enforced, so after a fun day of being outside, please enjoy the interior. The neighborhood is great for walking or biking.
- Mayfaire Town Center is an easy walk or bike ride, and offers numerous shops, boutiques, great restaurants, movie theater, trampoline park, golf lounge, 4 grocery stores, and other entertainment options.
- Wrightsville Beach offers miles of beautiful beach. Fishing and rentals for kayaking, boating, and surfing.
- Downtown features some renowned restaurants, the new Riverwalk area, lively bars and music.
- USS North Carolina (BB-55) Battleship
- You are also a 30-minute drive to Carolina Beach which is home to the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.

Nice family getaway
We loved the amount of bathrooms and the amenities. The house was fully stocked with everything you would have at your own home. The pool was nice and the pool table was a hit. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay at Fun in the Sun
We came to Wilmington for my niece's wedding. Our group was 10 adults and one 1 year old. This house worked great for us! The location is wonderful! We all loved relaxing by the pool. The house is exactly as pictured and described. Very quiet neighborhood. The owner, Marlane, was quick to respond to all forms of communication. The only suggestion I have is it would be nice if there was a high chair. We would definitely stay at Fun in the Sun again should we return to Wilmington!

Fun in the Sun property
We were in Wilmington for our sons wedding. This was the perfect house for our family & friends. The house is very spacious & will sleep 16 people. Everyone had a bed. We had a great time and would recommend this rental to anyone needing extra space. Kids loved the pool & there were plenty of games for everyone to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again. Wish we could have stayed longer!!!

End of summer getaway
The house was perfect for us! It has everything you need and then some! I highly recommend this place. It’s in a nice neighborhood, about a 15 min. drive to the beach and not to far from downtown. It’s very cozy and comfortable. We loved all the activities the place has to offer like, swimming in the saltwater pool was amazing, playing the games in the house was really fun too! Being able to grill out is a big plus also, in my book! We give it a big double thumbs up!!!

Nice property, overall good stay
Group of 15. Age ranges from 8 month to Adult. The pool table & pool were a big hit. Kitchen was well equipped but could use a pantry for food storage. Charger for bluetooth speaker was delivered promptly but the hammock was never replaced. Some of the pool furniture is breaking.

This was perfect for us. All kinds of activities for families of all ages. House and finishings were up to date. Enough space to host local family members for dinner, fun, etc. Location excellent to get to all parts of Wilmington.

Great stay in Wilmington
Overall our stay was wonderful. The house was big enough to sleep everyone with many fun things to do in a kind, quiet neighborhood. The only negatives we encountered were lots of pet hair (pets are allowed but we didn’t bring any) and the AC quit working downstairs part way through our stay. (Luckily it was October so not too hot.) Neither of these things were major inconveniences and Green Meadow was a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Family rental for my daughters wedding
Good location and the upstairs rooms are much larger than the photos show. Pool is nice and the pool table was awesome to have! We used the fans and open windows downstairs to cool as a part was back ordered for the downstairs HVAC. Two cleaning observations to share: lots of dust on the top and sides of the ceiling fans in both bedrooms upstairs. Also on the inside of the door frame in the bedroom at the top of the stairs.

Great house for a large family!
Our family rented this property because we needed to be in Wilmington for a family qedding. this was a great find! The house was huge! The rental process was very easy and the property manager was great to deal with. The location was centered between the beach and town and it was easy to get everyone. If we ever go to Wilmington again, we will seriously consider renting this house.

Great family property within minutes of many activities and restaurants!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and visit to The Wilmington area. Had a slight snag with the pool upon arrival but The owner quickly resolved the issue. Loved the back billiards room with expanded space for family games, etc. We found many useful games, beach gear, and floaties for enjoying the pool. Really liked having some bedrooms on the first floor as well as the game/TV room for the upstairs bedrooms. Great place for family vacation!

Pool a definite plus with grandchildren. Awesome they provided the beach chairs to take to the beach, a great benefit not to have to buy or to bring with. We truly enjoyed our week there and had everything you would need home away from home.

Beautiful home!
We stayed with our kids, in-laws, and sister with her teens. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The pool was the biggest hit for everyone! It felt so nice and cool when we had 90 degree temps! The laundry rooms on each level was so helpful. The upstairs closets are HUGE! It is only 10 minutes to the beach and less than 15 to downtown. We have rented many vacation homes and found this one to be the best we've ever stayed in! It was so clean and well kept. My only suggestion would be curtains on bedroom windows to keep everyone from waking too early when the sun shines brightly (especially little ones who like to wake up everyone else.) We plan on staying again on our next trip to Wilmington!

It has everything
Our family of 7 plus grandparents fit very comfortably in the house. Two master suites are so nice and one has a huge two head shower which my kids loved. We used the bikes daily, kids loved the pool table, ping pong and foosball table and of course the pool!!! There were lots of floats and noodles and dive toys. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was fully stocked. The house is very spacious. Grocery stores were convenient. Owner was easy to communicate with. Beaches are close by. We were there during strawberry/ blueberry season so we visited the u pick Lewis family farm only a few minutes away. We would definitely stay here again if we go to Wilmington.

We attended a wedding in Wilmington, NC. Our large family had plenty of place to stay. The house has everything you can think of and things you didn't think you needed. Plenty of space for family meals and also plenty of room to spread out. Marlane is a great host and thought of everything.

This house is perfect for larger groups. I felt everyone had space to retreat to when needed and there was plenty of gathering space throughout the house so no one was crowded. It was clean and so well supplied with everything we needed. It is a beautiful home as well! Perfect house!!!
