"What a beautiful historic hotel that has been transformed for modern convenience! Everything was great, and the one time we had a small maintenance issue, someone came within five minutes, even though it was nearly midnight. The only thing I would change would be the beds. They are like a memory foam or something, and if you sleep on the edge and you’ve had a lot of southern food, you can feel like you’re falling off the bed as it smooshes down. "

"Was in town for a family visit. Have stayed here before and now make a pointe to always stay when in town. Beautiful grounds and historical dwellings for all to enjoy. Love that it is on a working farm with site provided food. So glad this is maintained, corporate rooms are just nothing to compare. Wildlife, farm animals, nature trails, events, etc...."

"Our stay didn’t go as planned as it rained, snowed and was cold the whole time. However the home was very nice and the little touches, like a basket a snacks, stocked bathroom supplies made the stay very enjoyable.The owners go above and beyond to make it feel homey unlike most rentals we have used."

"The property was very clean. Thought it was nice that they left some snacks in a couple sample bottles of the local brown water.Only critique is the bed could have been a little more comfortable and a whole lot quieter and I would suggest leaving some dish cloths and some dawn detergent to help with dish cleanup"
