"We really enjoyed this place. Love the all wood interior and wide open natural setting. It is super cozy. Perfect for a couple. We made use of the fire pit on the chilly nights and took a stroll by the pond. It's 15 minutes from AOAA which is why we were in the area. We'll be back I'm sure!"

"We stayed for two nights while attending a local event. Overall, the place was bigger and cozier than it appears—clean, quiet, and charming. The driveway easily fit three cars. The main bathroom is modern, the attic bedroom is well-insulated (great for kids), and the deck offers a nice lake view (though there’s no direct lake access). "The property itself is beautiful; however, 2 days into our month long stay, the area was hit with the remnants of a hurricane ( rain and strong winds). This caused water intrusion along one entire side of the cabin and portions of the roof. We left on the third day. Our host was gracious and worked with us and VRBO to refund our money. "

"I planned on spending my birthday in happy valley and searched all over for a place, then I found Lakewood cottage. I talked it over with the other couple that came with and it was an easy yes for the 4 of us. The place wasn’t far from the stadium and easy to get to. It was clean and tidy and overall an amazing stay for the weekend. We would definitely stay here again."

"Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day."
