We loved our stay there! Would go back! The pool as really nice and your steps to the beach. Everyone was friendly and Leslie is the office was super nice! Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Our stay was exceptional. We had our dog with us, which made it a real family vacation. The room was very clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend and will return if and when we can.

Perfect beach motel
The motel is a cute little place close to the beach that is dog friendly. Pool was nice, rooms were clean but could use some updates. Front desk was super helpful and friendly. We had a partial view of ocean from our room. Will definitely stay again.

This is our second time staying at Beach Colony and it was great! Clean rooms, close to the beach, and able to bring our two dogs! That's all we wanted! The owner is very nice and accommodating.

I had a very nice stay at Beach Colony Motel. I had a nice room, which was very clean. The pool was very nice, and also very clean. There were lots of dogs there. Everyone was friendly. I would recommend this motel.

Dog friendly, but not dog smelly, clean. Priced well. Right near the beach. In walking distent to restaurants and Ice Cream. This property had some pretty bad reviews. But we believe they were lies from the old management and issues that they made up. We had a great stay.

At 7:15 am when I went to open the window someone from the maid service was peeping inside my window invading my privacy. I felt violated and made me believe that at that time with no clean-up equipment or identification, something strange was going on. Never again.

Was very disappointed with room. They put us in a room facing the wall with no view. The hotel was pretty empty so I'm still not sure why I was given the room I was given. Also, the refrigerator was unplugged as well as the lights. It took nearly 24 hrs for the fridge to cool off. The bed and floor also appeared to have sand on it which made me concerned that the bedding wasn't cleaned prior to arrival.

Good for a motel I suppose, was extremely clean but smelled like bleach. The motel only had hot water one of the three times I showered. The rest of the time it was lukewarm. The bath towels provided were ripped. Location wise it’s ideal but the railing height can’t be up to code and are a safety hazard if you have children. Parking is always available. Ice machine and grills on site.

Room comfort.
It’s a good place to stay if you plan to just use the room to sleep. There’s a $34.10 CASH fee if you have a pet. The room seemed clean but the layout was very awkward. The bathroom was blocked by one of the beds and the room furniture was very outdated. There really isn’t any room for comfort just beds, no chairs or table to eat on. I did go with their least expensive room. It had 3 beds (I only needed 1), but if you plan on spending anytime in your room I suggest you go with a bigger room. I paid over $200.00 which to me isn’t such a great value, but it was a last minute decision.

When arriving at the property, we were changed a cash only pet fee per pet. This was in addition to the pet fee included in the rooms fees. In the middle of our stay it was claimed that our dog caused damage to the already damaged room. We were told that if we didnt hand over cash immediatley then we would be evicted. The property manage leslie had the police come to our room twice, in addition to charged my credit card $625.00 dollars, without my permission, for a comforter and curtains that were already damaged and from the 70s. This was supposed to be a 4 generation trip filled with good memories We ended up leaving early due to the hostile and uncomfortable environment. Please, dont give this motel your money.
