Nestled at the bottom of the infamous Solway Coast Area of Natural Beauty is Glendale, a beautifully presented 2 bedroom cottage on the upper floor of The Long House. Looking out over the Solway Firth all the way to the Criffel Hills in Scotland, this is the perfect location for serenity and relaxation, and yet a perfect base to explore all that this part of Cumbria has to offer. The West Coasts sunsets are something to behold, lucky guests can even catch glimpses of pink and green polar lights of the aurora borealis.
Enter the building via the stone steps into Glendale, the bright entrance hallway ushers you in, immediately your gaze caught by the windows directly opposite looking west out over the firth. The master bedroom shares the coastal view, fully equipped with a comfortable king sized double bed, fitted wardrobes, and relaxing recliner to soak in the views. The second bedroom with double bed makes Glendale the perfect couples or family retreat.
The living room has seating for all, beautifully decorated with peaceful artwork making this a home from home. There is a smart TV, however with a window to watch the stars at night, it’s likely you’ll not be looking at a TV at all. The living room partially shares its space with the dining room, seating for 4 and again, another incredible view. The kitchen is fully equipped for all culinary needs to cook up a feast for all, in addition to toaster, coffee machine, microwave oven and more. A washing machine and dryer is also there for your convenience.
