"Lovely room. Nice view. Always boats moving past. Good food and bar. Really nice staff. Decent spa and pool. Very good free parking. Our room didn’t have air conditioning but that wasn’t a problem for us. Lovely walks for many miles alongside the canal and river. "

"Excellent location. Easy parking underground. Safe, quiet. Sadly on Sunday there is no restaurant service but Taglich dining is available within 5 minute walk from the hotel. Great find."

"This hotel is good however it is priced pretty high and the room will only cool down somewhat. The parking lot was full on Saturday night so we had to park in the alternate lot which was a little further. We did appreciate that before the end of breakfast, staff visited each table to let you know they would be taking down the breakfast buffet."

"I liked this hotel a lot but the sun was shining, I'm not sure there were many in-hotel facilities if it had rained though but it didn't so all was good. Room 115 was adequate, I don't like the fixed cheap shower/hair and hand gel dispensers and think these let good hotels down, and also makes for extra packing to bring our own, or having to buy some there which is also annoying. "My stay at the Arkadenhaus hotel was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the hotel manager. Despite my limited understanding of German, the manager went above and beyond to help me find the places I wanted to visit. "Such a great place to stay! We travel a lot by car between England and Sweden, so have stayed a few times now. We have two dogs that are welcome to stay in the hotel, and with one of us being celiac it’s possible to have breakfast as they offer great gluten free bread. There is also an electric charger to charge our car. "
