This modernized 2 bedroom holiday home in Wierre-Effroy is ideal for a small family. You have a beautiful terrace with picnic table that borders the green lawn. The picturesque village of Wierre-Effroy has a wooded area with all kinds of cultural and sporting activities within easy reach.

Here you will also find Chapelle Sainte-Godeleine. For a day at the beach you can go to Boulogne sur Mer (vieille ville and Nausicaa) or the elegant seaside resort of Touquet-Plage. Via a country road you arrive at this perfectly maintained holiday home on a beautiful domain just 15 minutes from the Opal Coast . The house of the homeowners and a second holiday home are also located on this domain, but you have complete privacy.

The house is furnished to contemporary comfort with, among other things, a spacious bathroom, an attractive wood stove, electrically operated blinds and good quality beds. The house, garden and surroundings are also perfect for your four-legged friend! If you travel with 2 families, you can also rent house FR-62720-01, located 50 meters away.

We rented both houses with 4 people and 2 dogs - and spent a very relaxing time (end of Sept-beginning of Oct 2023). Both are very well equipped, you did not have to take anything with you. Julien was a very attentive and friendly host from start to finish.

Dies ist eine schöne Gîte in einer wunderschönen Gegend Frankreichs, bequem für 4 Personen. Alle erforderlichen Annehmlichkeiten waren vorhanden, darunter zwei Fahrräder und ein Holzofen mit kostenlosem Holz. Der umzäunte Garten ist ideal, wenn Sie Ihren Hund mitnehmen, und bietet im Sommer dank des Schattens der umliegenden Bäume eine angenehme Abkühlung. Die Unterkunft ist trotz Burgen, Wäldern und/oder Stränden gut für zahlreiche touristische Ausflüge geeignet. Nichts ist mehr als eine Stunde entfernt. Julien ist der perfekte Gastgeber. Bei der Ankunft kam er und verbrachte Zeit mit uns, um zu erklären, was wir in der Gegend unternehmen können, und er schickte uns sogar per E-Mail alle Informationen, die wir zu Stränden und Wäldern brauchten, um mit unserem Hund spazieren zu gehen. Das Restaurant um die Ecke eignet sich hervorragend für ein gutes hausgemachtes Essen und ist überhaupt nicht teuer! Die freundliche Kellnerin war sehr beschäftigt, aber wir mussten nie warten. Das Wetter während unseres Aufenthalts war mies, aber die Unterkunft war nie ungemütlich. Wir nutzten sogar den Weber-Grill, der uns zur Verfügung stand, obwohl es (leicht) regnete! Wir können Juliens Gîte auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Lekker stil om te verblijven. Mooi huis. Alleen de tv is niet echt geweldig. Via satelliet, oké maar alleen duitsezenders. En een paar Franzezenders. De afstandsbediening voor de is een ramp. Het water in de keuken mag wel warmer ivm afwassen tussendoor. Verwarming is oké. Bed is wat smal voor twee personen. Verder lekker buiten zitten onder een grote appelboom.

Sehr schönes Gîte in ländlicher Lage mit komfortabler Ausstattung
Das gemütliche und komfortabel ausgestattete Ferienhaus in idyllischer Lage mit privaten Garten ist ein hervorragender Standort für einen Urlaub an der Cotê d’Opale. Innerhalb von zwanzig Minuten Fahrzeit sind zahlreiche lange Sandstrände erreichbar und an fast allen durfte unser Hund komplett frei laufen. Wir haben hier im September zwei sehr erholsame Wochen verbracht und wurden äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit von Herrn Duwat betreut.

It was a fabulous stay at this gorgeous property! We were sad to be leaving as it almost started to feel like home. Our host gave us a wonderful welcome, and we appreciated all the amenities, how clean and sparkly the whole house is, the maintenance, the small details, and excellent garden and outdoor facilities! The kitchen, dining, and living room area is spacious, bright and large glass doors open onto the garden terrace. The master bedroom looks onto a quiet end of the garden which makes for a stunning way to wake up. The large, modern bathroom is excellent, there is a second WC, a laundry, children's room, the whole house is well lit, and all windows are equipped with electric roller shutters. We shall miss sitting beneath the old apple tree in the evenings and enjoying the serenity of this beautiful property which is surrounded by large, old trees. Our two rescue dogs had the time of their lives here too! One couldn't get enough of chasing the fallen apples, and the other, even though deaf and blind, was safe to wander around and have little adventures. The whole property is thoughtfully fenced off so that dogs can run freely in the back garden. The surrounding countryside made for beautiful walks through corn and wheat fields, small forests, and visits to local bakeries, cheese makers, castles, and the historic Opal Coast with its stunning beaches. We hope to return one day in the future, it was a superb week in a very charming place with a great host!

De tuin is ook heel fijn om te zijn. Je kan er tevens badmintonnen en tafeltennissen. Daarnaast is de beheerder ook heel aardig. Komen graag nog een keer terug!

Location agréable et région splendide
Propriété située dans un grand corps de ferme, totalement indépendante, jardin avec jeux pour enfants (ping pong badminton). Très bien agencée et agréable. L'accueil, l'amabilité et la disponibilité de M. Duwat est très appréciable. Un grand merci. La région: La côte d'Opale est magnifique, les 2 caps (cap blnc nez et cap gris nez) offrent des balades très agréables. Les plages sont grandes et on profite de la mer pour se rafraîchir. Pour les passionnés de la grande guerre il y a de quoi faire, musées, fort, citadelle, base secrète etc... Calais avec son Beffroi, sa super plage, son phare et bien sûr son Dragon est une ville qu'il faut absolument visiter. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous ne manquerons de revenir dans cette location quand nous reviendrons dans la région.

Ende April, Anfang Mai 2019 haben wir zwei wunderbare Urlaubswochen in der Unterkunft verbracht. Der Empfang durch den Gastgeber Julien Duwat war sehr freundlich. Kuchen, Saft , Wasser und eine Menge Informationen standen für uns Gäste breit. Die Wohnanlage ist sehr schön und mit viel Flair eines alten Landhauses. Das Ferienhaus ist gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Die Terrasse und der komplett eingezäunte Garten sind bei gutem Wetter bezaubernd. Vor allem für Hundebesitzer ist das Haus ideal.

Zeer hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar Julien, er stond een fles fruitsap, een brood en een kaasje van de locale kaasboerderij voor ons klaar. Kregen nuttige tips over wat er te beleven valt in de omgeving. Voor ons vertrek uit België kregen we een gedetailleerde wegbeschrijving doorgemaild en dat was heel nuttig, we waren trouwens te vroeg op onze bestemming maar dat was geen probleem. De gite alles prima, van alles voorzien zoals beschreven. Zeer rustig gelegen. Het was nog te fris om van de tuin te kunnen genieten. De opaalkust ligt op een boogscheut, veel wandelmogelijkheden en restaurantjes allerlei. We hebben een fijne midweek doorgebracht in Londefort. Zeker een aanrader!

Wij verbleven in maart een week in deze prachtige accomodatie. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen door Julien, die de Engelse taal goed beheerst. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Alhoewel het bad voor mijn partner wat te klein was, heeft hij er toch meerdere malen gebruik van gemaakt. Wij hebben iedere dag gekookt en gezellig “thuis” gegeten. S’ avonds hebben we af en toe een DVD tje gekeken, die in het huis aanwezig waren, want de TV kon alleen Franstalige zenders ontvangen. De tuin moet in de zomer naar mijn idee ook prachtig zijn, nu was alles nog in een kaal winterjasje. De plek is een goede uitvalsbasis voor de kustgebieden. Wij hebben iedere dag een ander stuk van de kust verkend, wandelend, hardlopend of fotograferend. Helaas liet de zon ons een beetje in de steek, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Julien kwamvoor ons vertrek nog even langs, en nam alle tijd om naar onze verhalen te luisteren. Hij is bezig met een ander appartement dichter aan de kust, wat dit jaar klaar zal zijn. Nous avons immédiatement été très chaleureusement accueuillis par le propriétaire, qui nous as présenté le logement Fidèle à la déscription Le gîte de Ste Godeleine est un petit joyau situé - au calme(!!) - dans un écrin de verdure, et fait partie d'une magnifique propriété. C'est un logement récent, qui a été aménagé avec soins et qui est très bien entretenu (propre et nette!). La déco laisse ci- et- là deviner la personnalité des propriétaires, et pourtant on s'y sent comme chez soi! Ce n'est pas un équilibre facile à obtenir! Bravo! C'est charmant! Le fait que le logement soit de plein- pied était un point fort pour nos 3 enfants de 1 à 6ans. Elles se sont également bien plus à la Colline aux animaux qui se situe dans le village. Nous regrettons seulement de n'avoir pu visiter tout les lieux présentés par Mr Duwat... Manque de temps. Mais il est de très bon conseil et toujours à disposition de ses vacanciers. Ce lieu est une vraie bulle d'oxygène! We zijn onmiddelijk warm onthaald geweest door de eigenaar van de Gîte de Ste Godeleine, welk ons het vakantiehuis voorstelde Komt perfect overeen met de omschrijving de gîte van Ste Godeleine is een pronkstukje in de mooie natuur, kalm gelegen en maakt deel uit van een prachtig gebouw. De woning op zichzelf is nieuw ingericht, met veel smaak, en is héél proper onderhouden. In de decoratie raden we hier en daar de personnaliteit van de eigenaars, maar toch voelt het aan als thuiskomen. Dit is een evenwicht dat echter heel moeilijk te bekomen is! Bravo hiervoor! Het is heel charmant! Wat voor ons ook een sterk punt was, was dat woning op de gelijkvloers is perfect voor onze 3 kindjes van 1 tot 6jaar. Ze hadden ook een geweldig tijd in la Colline aux animaux, in het dorp aanwezig. Hoe jammer toch dat we niet alle plaatsen konden bezoeken dat de eigenaar ons voorstelde, tijdstekort... Maar Dhr Duwat is echt van goede raad, en staat steeds ter beschikking van zijn vacanciers. Deze plek was een echte aanrader.

zeer goede accommodatie om samen met uw huisdieren onbezorgd te kunnen genieten. heel rustig en de zee op een kwartier afstand. Bakker op 1km.. goede auberge op 600meter .lekker en niet duur.
