Absolutely amazing apartment and hosts
Can't praise Gite Antoinette and our hosts Valerie and Patrick enough. Best gite and best hosts we have met in over 30 years of visiting France. The reality was even better than the photos. The welcome is comprehensive and detailed and extended to a friendly apero - which in our case was held with the occupants of the other apartment and was great fun. Everything we could need (including pool towels) was provided and every offer made to help with our stay including where to visit and how to get there. Could happily give this six stars! Thank you Valerie and Patrick for a lovely, relaxing week.

Perfect In Every Way
We've just spent two weeks at this beautiful location in Alsace. We stayed in the apartment Antoinette, which is a great size for two people. The lounge area was great for relaxing, the kitchen was very well equipped to cook meals, the bed was extremely comfortable, we both slept incredibly well during our stay. The whole place was very clean and well cared for. The outside area was fantastic. The pool was heavenly, and we spent many days relaxing in the sun, reading and swimming. Valerie and Patrick are the most perfect hosts. They met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment. On the first Sunday we were there we had evening drinks and snacks with them, just wonderful company. During our stay if we had any questions, they were both easy to contact and replied very quickly. They gave us information on local activities, which was so helpful. We've rented lots of houses and they have to be the best hosts ever. We have already booked to go again in 2024. Alsace is very beautiful, so much to see and do. I highly recommend a drive to Lake Titisee in the Black Forest, we enjoyed a cruise on the lake and had a delicious lunch and even some tasty gateau.

Un petit bijou !
Premièrement, l’accueil de Valérie et Patrick est chaleureuse et on a l’impression de « faire partie de la famille ». Le logement est parfait, complet ,super beau et bien décoré et entretenu. Holiday we will never forget !!!
Like many other guests reviews, we found this to be an outstanding holiday accommodation. From the beautiful, well equipped apartment to the magnificent heated pool and surrounding gardens, we could not have asked for more. Valerie & Patrick were perfect hosts and made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. Their attention to detail was 5*, including extras like a Gas BBQ, outdoor fridge to keep our wine chilled while we were by the pool, along with a choice of several bicycles to enable us to explore the local area. This is a beautiful part of France and we look forward to visiting again some day. To Patrick & Valerie, we would like to thank you both once again for being perfect hosts and helping make our holiday one to remember.

Affordable Alsace luxury
From the beautifully appointed, spacious apartment, to the idyllic swimming pool and the genuinely warm welcome of the hosts, this place is perfection. I only wish my own home was as impeccably stylish and well maintained. There's a lovely combination of the old and new. The accommodation, in a large original farm building is full of mod-cons. With deep, south-facing windows, the vast open-plan apartment is sunny and bright. There's a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom.. and everything works. The large pool area is equally attractive, with tasteful lighting and a large selection of sun-loungers, sofas and a hammock. This is shared with just one other apartment, so is never overcrowded. It was a great setting for a welcoming aperitif with the owners, who could not have been more helpful and charming with tips about the local Alsace cuisine and places to visit. There is also a large, secure garage in the peaceful rural setting. Wickerschwihr is a quiet village, but well placed for seeing the stunning city of Colmar, the celebrated nearby wine route and picturesque Freiburg over the border in Germany. The only word of warning I'd have, is that you need to be pretty mobile to climb the steep spiral staircase to the accommodation. But this place is hard to fault, brilliant value for money and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful Gite
We really enjoyed our week at this gite. It is very stylish, fitted out to a high standard and has everything that you need to have a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The pool area is amazing, which we made use of every day. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Valerie and Patrick. We were their first English guests, but we are sure that they will have many more! They are a lovely couple, for whom nothing was too much trouble. There is so much to see in the area, that we did not run out of things to do. Our sightseeing included Colmar, Riquewhir, Ribeauvillé, Kaysersberg, Strasbourg and Lake Titisee in the Black Forest.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Valérie et Patrick, ils sont number one au niveau de l’accueil ! Des attentions de bienvenue aux informations touristiques, Valérie se rend toujours disponible. Le gîte est très beau, très propre, bien équipé et en cette époque de l’année joliment mis en lumière par les décorations de Noël. Nous avons qu’une envie c’est revenir à une autre période où les villages seront moins fréquentés qu’en cette période magnifique de Noël. Die Ferienwohnung ist originell und genauso, wie sie sich im Internet präsentiert. Valérie und Patrick sind die besten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann: sehr freundlich, aufgeschlossen, hilfsbereit und vor allem überaus gastfreundlich. Wir wurden mit Kuchen auf dem Tisch und Sekt im Kühlschrank empfangen und sogar eingeladen zu einem gemeinsamen Abend mit den anderen Gästen, die dort wohnten. Es fehlte uns an nichts und wir können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Ein Paradies mit den für uns besten Gastgebern im Elsass
Wir hatten 10 wunderschöne Tage in dieser tollen Wohnung. Die Gastfreundschaft von Vaterie und Patrick ist wohl kaum zu übertreffen. Die Lage der Wohnung in dieser sehr ruhigen Gegend, auf diesem traumhaften Anwesen war perfekt. Fahrräder und Auto konnten mit ausreichend Platz in der eigenen Garage abgestellt werden. Der Pool war auf konstant 28 Grad beheizt und das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt. Noch einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön an Valerie und Patrick und alle guten Wünsche für Euch.

Tolle Unterkunft- herzlicher Empfang
Wir können die Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Wohnung ist top ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber Valerie und Patrick haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen mit Gugelhupf, Cremont und Blumen. Ausserdem konnten wir bei einem gemeinsamen Aperitif die typisch elsässischen erfragen und kennenlernen. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Außergewöhnlich war der traumhafte Garten mit Pool, den wir gerne genutzt haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen lieben Dank, Sandra und Olivier :)

Wat een heerlijke plek om je vakantie door te brengen.Valerie en Patrik hebben er alles aan gedaan om je op je gemak te voelen. zo was de ontvangst geweldig, het appartement heerlijk ruim, zeer volledig en met zorg ingericht. Daar komt bij het verwarmede zwembad, de eigen garage en het gebruik mogen maken van de fietsen. Het was fijn om bij jullie onze vakantie door te brengen

Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour dans le gite Antoinette chez Valerie et Patrick. Nous avons pu nous détendre et avons beaucoup apprécié l'appartement bien équipé ainsi que la piscine. Les beaux détails et les attentions nous ont surpris et fait très plaisir. Nous avons emprunté les vélos et avons pu profiter d'une belle balade dans la plaine à travers des villages un peu moins touristiques. Colmar est proche et facile d'accès.

Nach einer herzlichen Begrüßung von Valerie,haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Wir sind aus dem Staunen nicht mehr rausgekommen,als wir die Wohnung betraten. Es ist für alles gesorgt, vom niedlichen Geschirr,bis hin zum Fön. Der Poolbereich ist gemütlich mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten ausgestattet. Wundervoller Tage im Elsass
Wir haben wunderschöne Tage in Wickerschwihr verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt, originell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles genauso wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Der Aussenbereich mit Pool ist nach Ausflügen in die Umgebung herrlich zum entspannen. Nicht zu übertreffen ist die Herzlichkeit von Valérie und Patrick, die unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich haben werden lassen. Wir kommen wieder!
