Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
We arrived Friday, January 24, and were told that we would have no water after 9pm until the next morning because of "scheduled" maintenance so we had to fill a cooler with water and then fill the tanks in the toilet to be able to use it. The next morning we woke to maid service banging on our door at 8 am we asked they please come back later. When we returned that evening our room was a mess and they had not cleaned it and it smelled like sewer gas. Also when the water came back on the toilet had black streaks in it that were never cleaned as well.
This was a terrible experience. This was a weekend stay for my husbands birthday and it was not a good experience at all. I expect much more from a Hilton property. Our entire stay should be comped at this point.
This could not have been Scheduled maintenance! Had it been there would have been some kind of forewarning and there was not until we arrived and then could do nothing about it and we paid full price? I have travelled extensively for work for catastrophe work and have stayed in hotels that had issues due to hurricanes, etc and have to say this was one of the worst and handled horribly
