We had a great weekend stay with 3 families with young kids. The house was so nicely renovated, very comfortable and clean. The kids loved playing outside and seeing the goats. Easy 40 min drive into downtown Chattanooga.
The Farmhouse is beautiful. We enjoyed the front porch so much. The kitchen is great to cook in. We played games on the huge dining room table. We loved the area.
Overall, we met to meet up for a nice Easter break with my son who drove up from Pensacola. The place was great and provided more than enough room for everyone. The owners were very responsive to any questions and really made for a nice stay overall. The place was close enough to do some fun activities around Chattanooga, but not too close, which is a good thing. The drive over the mountain into the city as fantastic as well.
Just what we needed! Plenty of room so early to bed folks could sleep while others stayed up! We went to the zoo for the Lantern Festival and chilled at the house. Super clean and nice! Already thinking about staying again!!
The property was lovely. The house was as pictured, an old farmhouse nestled in between the mountains. We had goats for neighbors. Sad but we had to cut our trip short due to illness. I would go back.
Peaceful area and large home to have family be able to come and go. Normally we vacation and have to drive to all the surrounding areas to see family at their homes, which is exhausting. This made it easier for us to stay put in the house and have family come see us instead. Area is close enough to Chattanooga area that you can easily drive there if you are looking for that venue and then retreat back to the nice quiet vacation home. If you are looking to relax, it is ideal. Also close to nature and Foster Falls a short drive. Highly recommend and Hosts were attentive and helpful when I called them before and during the stay.
The property was in a country setting. This was a old home that has grown over time. We enjoyed seeing all the updates that was perfect fit for our family. The heart of the home was the kitchen and dining area were we played games and cooked home made meals and deserts.
My four sister’s, me and some of our daughters/daughters in law and one granddaughter took a weekend trip away to Chattanooga. 1900 Victoria Farmhouse was just the right size for us.
We had a great time spending time with each other in this beautiful farmhouse. Great amenities, beautifully decorated with such great detail that did not take away from the charm of the home.
Home owner Ashley was a doll to deal with, always answered my questions with a timely response.
I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area. Will definitely stay there again.
My family stayed in this beautiful home for a week. We had family come from Ohio, Florida and California. This house fit us all comfortably. It was so clean! And they had all the doors closed when we first got there so it was fun opening each door not knowing what would be behind it. It’s a mix of true 1900 history and updated luxury. We had two young kids with us and they loved the nook area upstairs and the hot tub. We loved that the dinning room fit all of us for meals and card games. We loved just sitting on the front porch and listening to nature. It’s in an area that’s away from everything but close enough to stores if you forgot things. We had a few questions when we got there and the owner was always super quick to answer and try to help. This was an amazing vacation and we would absolutely stay again if ever in the area.
We were looking have a quiet peaceful weekend with my mother who is 94. This was our last family trip like this because it is getting hard on her.
When we arrived the home was very clean. The master bedroom downstairs was excellent for my mother she was able to move around very well. The kitchen was very well stocked and accessible. The laundry room was hugh and also had a broom and vaccum if we had any messes. The dining room was big it sat 8 and 4 sat in the kitchen, because there was 12 of us. The livingroom was nice but not quite big enough for 12 people to watch a ballgame. We had to move a tv downstairs in the dining room so everyone could watch the game. The home is in a very quiet location and is very peaceful. The kids loved playing in the big yard and the adults enjoyed sitting on the big front porch. My mom enjoyed taking walks down the side road that runs by the house with my sister.
Also we had a visitor who we called Binx, a black cat who wanders up looking for attention. My granddaughters wanted to take him home, but their mama said no. The adults loved seeing yhe goats next door.
All in all it was a fantastic trip and we all enjoyed ourselves and got some well deserved rest and fun.
Thanks to our hosts for a fond memory of a vacation.
Property is just like the photos and is so comfortable! King or Queen beds in many bedrooms, along with two master suites, made it an ideal spot for our (mostly) adult family. Three children were with us, and they had a wonderful time watching the goats, taking short hikes and sitting around the campfire with marshmallows. Property is well stocked with extra toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning products. We had plenty of towels and washcloths, and the beds were comfortable. Yes, the living area is small for a large group to watch tv, but we spent most of our time playing board games, driving to hikes, and reading books. At night, two or three adults could be found watching tv in the living room and were comfortable. I highly recommend this home if you are looking to relax. We didn't try to drive into Chattanooga as Thanksgiving traffic can be brutal, but we love our rural stay and found two nice playgrounds in nearby Jasper. We also had an "adults only" dinner and lunch at the Top of the Rock restaurant, and I heartily recommend the chicken picatta or the salmon!
Loved this place. Plenty of room so you were not on top of each other. It was in the country and we felt safe. It was n driving distance to all the sites in Chattanooga yet with rural rustic charm. Very relaxing atmosphere. Host was quickly reachable if we had a question. We would stay there again.
