A Very Relaxing Get Away
We arrived at the cabin and found it to be exactly as described. Clean, neat and in order. The hot tub worked exactly as expected. Heat and AC, great. Key code was without issue. The showerheads were unusually low, in our opinion. As were the counters in the bathrooms. Some of the appliances seemed to be a little dated, but that wasn’t a huge issue. And overall the rooms were a little smaller than expected, but again, not a huge issue. We would suggest an upgrade to the WIFI because the available 5g was mostly unusable and our cell service was all but unusable. But our goal was “escape” so that wasn’t a major blip. Nevertheless, everything was as described, and the location was very, very remote. And quiet. And beautiful. We left relaxed and wishing we had booked a longer stay.

Anniversary Trip
The view was beautiful no one around just nature The only thing I could recommend is some kind of fan on the porch. So when you're in the hot tub and the Jets are going, all the chlorine and everything won't be blowing in your face. But other than that it was great we will be back maybe next time we could bring the hole family.

Pros/Cons
The only pro I can think about this property is the location in that is very close to the Smoky Mountains. The bedrooms where also nice and comfortable. The Cons. 1. The drive to the property definitely needs to be done at night it is gravel all the way up and extremely steep and sharp turns, I had a 4x4 not sure how a non 4x4 can make it. 2. The kitchen is in desperate need of updating, specially the utensils and cooking pans, the cooking pans are completely scratch these are a health hazard and need to be replaced asap. 3. The dishwashing machine does not work and had mold at the bottom. 4. the Hot Tub worked but was very dirty. 5. The Biggest CON was the water, we lost water several times during our stay and when we did have it was a very small stream that made showering and doing dishes very difficult. The maintenance team realized an issue with the plumbing that would hopefully correct this issue for future rentals, this was a huge inconvenient, many times we couldnt even flush toilets. Overall this house is OLD and it shows, the owners should consider making some urgent updates, specially the kitchen. The main pro was the attentiveness of the maintenance crew of Vacasa, they tried to address our issues very timely specially the water but I understand because of the Holidays it was not something that could be fixed urgently.

Polar Express Trip
Stayed at this location which was about 10 mins from the Polar Express in a quiet area. The house was suppose to have a jacuzzi tub but it was not working. The house also had some maintenance issues but the property manager Lauren did an outstanding job to rectify this situation. It was overall clean and mattresses were comfortable.

Are You Writing A Book?
If you are writing a book and don’t care about having a clean coffee maker and shower heads at a reasonable height, then this might be the place for you. If you want usable pots and pans and a decent internet connection then stay away. I specifically looked for a place that had Wi-Fi because my plan was to craft and play online games with my friend. Crafting happened, but was hampered by not having decent access to YouTube and gaming was out of the question. It’s fine if it can’t or doesn’t, but they had 5gigs and advertised Wi-Fi. Five gigs is less than most people have on their phones. So don’t advertise Wi-Fi if it doesn’t do what the average person expects. Cell service was poor, so it could not be made up for by having your own service. The coffee pot was irreparably filthy, we had to go buy a new one, I think the ductwork needs cleaned because it set off my allergies, there were holes in the walls and the kitchen smelled like rotting wood. The dishwasher was full of mold and running it 2 times didn’t clean it, so we hand washed all of our dishes. The pots and pans were either cheap aluminum or had damaged Teflon (poisonous). We had to buy a pan too. One of my towels smelled like cigarettes and there were cigarette ashes all over the deck. The pics of the place suggest a clean well lighted place, but this place was grim and dungeon like. And when presented with the complaint about Wi-Fi, their response was essentially, too bad so sad, but your stuck like chuck and it’s too late to do anything about it. I WILL NEVER stay at any of Vacasa’s properties again, not even if they comp me.

clean, cozy, secluded. We had a great trip. The only downfall was the hot tub would not heat up. Everything else was awesome and we would love to stay here again.

BEWARE
To start with the lady was cleaning the house when we arrived. Check in was 4:00 pm. She cleaned until after 5:00 pm. The main reason we rented this place was for the hot tub. We couldn’t use the hot tub because the lady didn’t clean it, because it would have taken too long to fill it back up with water and to get water hot. When I called to check about not being able to use hot tub, they said they would give me a $30.00 refund. After not being contacted back as they said they would I called them back. Now I was offered another $50.00 refund because house wasn’t clean and ready when we arrived. I told them that I was not satisfied. I was told that someone would call me back. Nobody ever called back and I received an email stating they would refund me $111.00. The other problem was that the front door lock wasn’t working and the maintenance man came out to repair it two different days and it still didn’t work. I would not stay here again!!!

The cabin was delightful. Everything you need was provided which was a huge plus. Very clean and as beautiful as the pictures. Hot tub was relaxing and game room fun. Great vacation and well worth the money. Close to casino and other attractions within 10 min drive. Highly Recommended Place To Call Home Away From Home!!

Sadly disappointed
My husband and I always take a few days off around our anniversary to just have some adult time, but wanted to stay closer to home this yr. We decided to rent this cabin mainly for the seclusion and hot tub. Upon our arrival, I’m not sure if the cleaning service had an emergency or just left without finishing. The vacuum cleaner was left on the sidewalk entryway, cleaning supplies left on one of the beds, washer was full of wet towels, and dryer was full of clean ones. Also, the hot tub was broken. The temperature would not increase at all. After many calls, someone finally came out to access, and indeed the damn thing was broken. I was so disappointed, and requested that we be switched to another cabin that had a working hot tub. But, guess what, non available. We had to stay there for 4 nights with no hot tub. They did refund my hot tub fee and cleaning fee so I guess that’s a start. I would not recommend this cabin at all. But, if you do rent, call and make sure everything is working properly first so you won’t be as disappointed as we were.

Enjoyable Stay
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The beds were super comfortable and everything was as described. I was a little anxious about the drive to the cabin as the roads are narrow and steep but that was to be expected. We had no issues at all and really enjoyed our time there!

Nature is nice Check out issue
Everything was good. Nice hot tub. Cool location in smoky mountains. However, we were supposed to check out at 11 according to the listing. And the cleaning lady was there prior to 10am. According to her schedule, we were supposed to check out at 10. She was nice and kind about it, it seemed like an issue above her, but please stick to the check out time. And this comes after they weren't allowing an early check in. We felt rushed/forced out and it put a damper on the last morning.
