This cabin is literally a short ride to all of these!
The cabin is near the entrance to the mountain within a HOA family deeded mountain community, a perfect location on the mountain! Many vacationers staying at this cabin prefer to not travel too far up a mountain while still getting fantastic views.
While staying as a guest, you can also take a short drive and visit the Oconaluftee River Community riverbank and picnic pavilion just a short drive (5-6 min) away on the same mountain.
This is a Fully furnished 3-Level Cabin equipped for a maximum of 10 guests.
The middle level includes the kitchen area, living area, master suite, master bath with jacuzzi. There is also a huge wraparound deck which includes plenty of seating and space for outdoor enjoyment.
The lower level includes a 2nd master bedroom, mini bar, full bath, living area, flat screen tv and pool table. Children and adults can have fun and enjoy a game of pool. Hot tub (4-person) is just outside lower level.
The upper level has two bedrooms (2 twin beds, and 1 queen bed) with a full bath and loft. The loft includes a trundle bed which can sleep 2 comfortably.
We have high speed internet in the cabin. Wi-fi range is 250 feet. Internet can be down at times due to weather conditions.
Guest Access
> Gravel road access. The road up to the cabin is steep but not particularly intimidating. We have no issues unless there is a large snowfall. Plenty of parking allowing for up to 5 vehicles.
> Travelers will have full access to all 3 levels. An access code to enter the cabin will be given to the guest within 5 days prior to arrival.
> If bringing motorcycles, experienced riders only. No trailers over 18 feet long. The driveway entrance is tight and there is a sharpe right turn to the long driveway. We do not refund.
> Check-in is 4:00 pm and Check-out is 10:00 am. If arriving early, please wait outside until cleaners are done.
Other Details
> HOA Deed restriction outside Quiet Time is from 9:00 pm-7:00am. Swain County Noise Ordinance in effect 24/7.
> No Parties allowed. If rule is disobeyed, you may be asked to leave without a refund and a claim made against the refundable deposit for breaking the rules. A Rental-House Rules Agreement will be sent to all guests to complete with return instructions.
> Please no smoking inside the cabin. Ashtrays are provided outside for a smoker’s convenience.
> Due to severe health issues with allergies we cannot accommodate animals.
> We do not rent to vacationers under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an older adult. This is a family deeded community.
> We take our cleaning seriously after every guests leaves and do our very best at keeping the cabin clean. We use disinfectant solutions on surfaces such as countertops, door knobs, light switches, bathroom areas and other areas most likely touched by guests
