The restaurant (Captain Joe’s) next door was the best part of the stay here. We got in the room and it was freezing, as the heat was off. Not much in the direct area.

Asked for 2 queen beds, got one king bed. Asked for first floor, got 2nd floor - even though hotel was empty. Room was 50 degrees - heat was turned off - in Michigan in January. We had to wear our coats in the room for over an hour. Horrible!

Best of the economy lodging bunch
Compared to other economy lodging in the area, Days Inn Whitmore Lake was the best we have come across. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was dated but ok. The front office staff was friendly and helpful. Great to find a good restaurant across the parking lot too.

Enjoyed our stay
Room was clean and comfortable. Could use more pillows on the king size bed. We skipped the breakfast. It was a pretty minimal breakfast. It was close to Michigans campus and a lot better priced than places closer to campus. We would stay again.

Very nice and accommodating staff at front desk. Room was basically clean just don’t like wood floors- felt dirty. But the restroom was clean, beds were clean. The door to our room was open(not wide ooen)when we got there. Really had to push to close but could not deadbolt it at all. So not that secure.
