In the woods near White Lake
My Brother and I stayed in this very nicely appointed three bedroom home nestled in the woods. Very private with plenty of outdoor room for our two Labs to get some exercise. It was clean and everything was just as advertised in the write up. Loved it and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a nice place to stay that is very quiet and private.

Perfect for a Duck Lake Adventure
We will rent this place again! Great property. Very private but close to everything. The house is set up nice and the garage is a bonus for keeping toys dry and ready to go. Fenced in yard was the best for our senior dog who enjoys being everywhere we are.

A good stay with only minor issues
Overall, my family and I had a good stay at this property. I'm not sure we'd return, but we were in the area for a family function. It was much more rural than we thought it would be. There is a small pest control problem, mostly large black ants, small beetles, and spiders. We were constantly smushing them and checking our bedding before going to sleep at night! Ant traps had been put out along the floors of each room, but they weren't really doing the job. The grounds appeared much more trimmed back in the online photos. There were enormous spiders and webs covering the exterior of the home. It would have also been useful to know that the 3rd bedroom is actually an office right off the entry door with French doors and a freestanding garment rack for a closet. The kitchen dishes weren't really stocked to accommodate 6 guests without doing dishes frequently. It was fine, we had a fine week, nothing we needed to contact the hosts about, but for the price I don't think it really fit our needs and it just needs a little love and attention.

Amazing!
Such a beautiful property with a massive fenced in backyard for dogs! Out boys had a blast. Hot tub had some sand in it but was still amazing. Got a fire going outside to enjoy while in the hot tube. A lot of walking paths. Not much to do around there which is perfect for people looking to escape for a long weekend. Would absolutely stay again. Amazing hosts!!!

Very relaxing!
We came up to ride at the Dunes and found this place that was only 40 minutes away. It was perfect for our stay. We rode at the Dunes for one day and then just relaxed at the house the next. Cooked hamburgers on the grill and used the nice fireplace. The garage was big enough that we could keep our trailer with atvs in it along with our car. Made us feel safe.

Great getaway
We were looking for somewhere dog friendly to stay for a long weekend and just unplug and this was perfect. The backyard is fenced in which was great because our dog was able to run around while we relaxed in the hot tub. I can’t say enough good things about Whitehall, the people were so nice there and we had a ton of fun! The thing that made our trip really special was how amazing the property owner, Deidre, was when we were planning out our trip. This was the first vacation we took with our infant and she gave us a bunch of ideas of where to take him and even mapped out some trails to take our dog on to get to different beaches. She really went above and beyond. Not to mention she let us check in early which was extremely helpful when traveling with a baby. There were a couple minor inconveniences, like the windows in the primary bedroom didn’t have any type of curtain or even a rod to hang something on so naps during the day were pretty hard for our baby and one of the three rooms had doors with windows but no curtains on one of them so that room didn’t really have privacy. For us those things didn’t affect our stay too much but I thought it’s worth mentioning if you are planning on staying here.

Quiet / Secluded Property Close to Popular Parks and Cities
Secluded property while still close to Muskegon State Park and Whitehall. Not a bad drive to popular cities like Holland, Ludington, and of course Muskegon. Hot tub and fire pit were a great addition!
