The house is pure luxury. We enjoyed every meal on the deck, the mountain air, well stocked kitchen, and luxurious beds and baths. Mountain biking, whitefish lake, and Glacier made this a perfect summer getaway for two families of four!

This property is a real gem!!!
This property was an absolute gem for a ski in and ski out experience. The location was ideal being right beside the chairlift and a short 5 minute walk to the restaurants/pubs/ski shops on the hill. The cabin was clean and very well maintained with all the accessories needed to enjoy some wonderful meals. We will definitely recommend it to others and hope to get back again ourselves.

Spectacular tree house with no wasted space. 7 Adults slept comfortably (may have to lay diagonal on the bunk bed if you're 6'4 haha) but albeit beautiful property. My Cedar Chalet experience was amazing!
The Chalet and the setting on Whitefish Mountain were both beautiful and picturesque. Inside the furnishings and amenities were very luxurious. I especially loved the 2nd floor with the kitchen area opening to the living area and the deck with a view. We took advantage of the hot tub and the grill during our visit and both were in excellent shape. In general everything was high quality and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our time there. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Absolutely Beautiful
Stayed 10 days over Christmas 2018 and made such wonderful memories. Luxury everything and very well stocked. The owner Gayle had personalized ornaments made for us for the live Christmas tree she put up and also chocolates, a teddy bear and poinsettia upon arrival. The management company took care of our every need during our stay. Couldn’t have asked for anything more beautiful and unique. Truly an amazing place!

Great stay! Definite recommend!!
We booked all three Snow Bear chalets for a family trip and they worked out perfectly. The units were a great change from our usual hotel stays and you can't beat being located right on the slope! But what really made the stay was the owner, Gail, and property manager Teresa. They bent over backwards to respond and source every one of our requests including a chef, babysitter, rental equipment and ski instructors. These are the things that usually make us nervous about a house rental that usually lack compared to a hotel concierge but they were better than any five star hotel. We had a fantastic stay and definitely plan to return next ski season

Perfect chalet for a family vacation!
The Cedar Chalet at Snow Bear Chalets was the perfect place for our summer holiday with our family. The interior of the chalet is gorgeous, and they owners really thought of everything we would possibly need. When you walk outside, that's when your jaw will hit the ground. The views of the mountains of Glacier National Park are stunning. You're right on the ski slope, with more than 3000 acres for hiking and biking. We loved taking the gondola to the top and hiking down- the vistas were simply breathtaking. Snow Bear has a perfect location with the easiest possible access to Whitefish Mountain Resort, the Village and downtown Whitefish. Life really doesn't get much better than this. We'll most definitely be back this winter for some awesome skiing. Thanks for hosting us!

New Year's at Snow Bear Chalets
This is our second year back for NewYear's . we love it. Whitefish is a great resort and the Snow Bear Chalets are the finest properties on the mountain. True ski in ski out off Hope's Slope and access to chair 3. A short walk down the hill to the Village bars and restaurants and shops. Gail and her team are great making you feel truly at home. from names on the hat and glove buckets, they meet you at arrival and regularly check up to see that all is well. Last year we stayed in Tamarack this year the larger Cedar. The set up was comfortable for six adults it can sleep 10 but needs to be children in the bunks. furnishings, bedding, bath products and in unit art work all first class.Unit is well stocked with essentials in kitchen. Gail provided great recommendations on restaurants side trips, transportation and ski instructors. we will be back , highly recommend and willing to provide any needed follow up. New Years eve fireworks from unit were incredible.

Snow Bear Chalets- the BEST place to stay at Whitefish Mountain Resort!
This property is 5-stars for so many reasons! The location is unbeatable- ON the slope at Whitefish Mountain Resort, which is just perfect for summer or a winter holiday. The treehouses are amazing! The architecture and the interior design are like something out of a movie. Our kids LOVED the starry turret, as did all of the adults too. Something about this place seems to bring out the inner child in all of us. Inside, from the luxury bedding and the most comfortable sleep ever, to the fully decked-out kitchen with everything a gourmet chef would need to create a masterpiece, to the furnishings, the AVEDA bath amenities, the views and so much more. I could write pages of how amazing these three treehouses truly are. We're looking forward to bringing our entire family - 22 people- with us next time and renting all three treehouses! If you're looking for luxury on Whitefish Mountain, this is the only place to stay, regardless of the season. Only 30 seconds from the slopes, 4 miles from charming downtown Whitefish with restaurants and shops, and a 15 minute drive to the airport, I'm not sure how it gets better than this. We certainly will be back, again and again. It's our family's favorite place to stay in Whitefish! Thank you for creating Snow Bear Chalets and for sharing it with us.
