"  We stayed at The Port William Friday and Saturday night in January.  We choose this place due to its location to the coast and its positioning right at the side of Trebarwith Beach and the promise of a sea view and relaxing atmosphere.  We were not disappointed! This is a lovely spot right on the SW Coast Path and only a few miles walk into Tintagel. "The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was very good. Top tip: sit on the green by the river with takeaway fish and chips and a drink. Lovely. The rooms are a little basic but fine. Location is quiet with lots of great walks around the area. Free parking next to the pub. "

"The Bugle Inn is the oldest building in the area. We had our evening meal in the bar, the food was lovely, good portions size, nicely presented. We had a good night's sleep, the beds were comfy, the shower was hot. We did find a cobweb. Breakfast was a full cornish and was lovely. "

Food was good with an extensive menu and friendly helpful staff. All in all a great 2 night stay in this lovely hotel. Ideally situated for Eden project visit, would definitely recommend."

"The pub is a nice character place from the outside but inside needs some tlc. It's really a good locals boozer with rooms. Can be noisy both later on at night (I stayed on a Monday which seems to be student night). In the morning you get sound's of the city waking up, Garbage lorry at 5am. No breakfast either so don't expect it, but on the plus your right on the town for dining out etc. Wouldn't rule it out but might look elsewhere first. "

"Just stayed for 2 nights, the Inn has 12 rooms free fast wifi, and the two rooms we had, family room and standard room, were spacious , clean, and lots of hot water for bath and shower, and we had a virtual check in, we booked pre covid-19, for a great price from Hotels.com, and it was great to see that that the inn hadnt closed down, it was a pity the restaurant and bar were closed, but we undertstand why! The full English breakfasts were cooked to order, and there was a lot of leeway ...
