"Quite an unusual property which I really liked but it wasn’t what my partner would have chosen. They did come round to it though. Very handy for the town and restaurants and lovely walks nearby. Fridge in room with water, bathroom a little cramped but at least it was clean and the host (who I think may live there) was very friendly. "

"Our lodge was amazing there was plenty of room for 4 adults and the lodge can accommodate 6 although only 4 people can sit at the dining table inside. The hot tub was ready for use when we arrived and self check in was easy. Amanda who came to check the hot tub was very friendly and helpful. Please note the lodge has underfloor heating so the wall heaters aren’t required and the hot water seems to be regulated from the thermostat in the kitchen. "We thought it was a peaceful location but it was a shame it rained most of the time. Jeremy is an excellent host. We rented over Christmas and even set up a Christmas tree with lights."

"I was disappointed that, although there seemed to be very few guests staying, we didn't have a sea view. Instead we had a view of the back of the driving range. Although the room was overall very clean, the dark carpet had obvious bleach spills and stains all over, and new carpets were definitely needed. One of our bath towels had obviously been used to wipe the floor. "

"We enjoyed the comfy bed and a soak in the bath. The Tv and other electrical appliances appeared brand new and everything we could want was there. The location is right on the main street so there was some traffic noise and we didnt find the heating or wifi controls - maybe some info in the room would help? This did not trouble us enough to seek help though, so overall a positive experience 🙂"
