The Space:
Coastal Townhouse has a beautifully designed open plan kitchen, living and dining area. With large bi-folding doors which open out onto the balcony, you can expect stunning harbour views. The living area includes modern grey sofas and a flat screen TV so it’s a perfect spot to relax with your loved ones. The dining area features a wooden table with matching benches nestled near the bi-folding doors so you can enjoy your meals with a view.
Ultra modern, the large kitchen spans the full length of the back of the room. You’ll have everything you could need to prepare meals easily as the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware.
You’ll find the master bedroom on the ground floor. With a comfortable king size bed and an ensuite bathroom, this space is ideal for two. A further three bedrooms can be found on the first floor. These rooms include a king with an ensuite shower room, a second king and a twin.
The family bathroom is also located on the first floor. Stylish and clean, this space includes a bath with an overhead shower, WC and basin.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is parking for one vehicle in a private garage at Coastal Townhouse. Further parking can be found within walking distance, charges may apply.
The Neighborhood:
Located on the East side of Whitby, The Coastal Townhouse is a lovely harbourside, less than a 10-minute walk to the town centre. There you’ll find narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. You can climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
On the other side of the River Esk, you’ll come across cosy pubs, fun arcades and even more fish restaurants on Pier Road. Venture along the lively road and you’ll reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts.
Getting Around:
The centre of Whitby is a short ten-minute walk from Coastal Townhouse.
Whitby train station is less than 15-minutes away on foot so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
