Relaxing Buttercup Cottage
We stayed in Buttercup cottage. We were greeted by our host Rachel and made to feel very welcome. The cottage was spotlessly clean with everything we could need. The bedrooms were upstairs, a twin room which looked out over the countryside and also had velux windows for star gazing and the double room with velux windows. Downstairs was very spacious with a comfortable lounge, lovely dining room with a big table to eat round and take in the views, great kitchen with everything you need and so clean and a big bathroom with shower over the bath. We parked right outside our door. The garden had some lovely spots to sit in and listen to the wildlife around. We slept so well in comfortable beds and loved how peaceful and relaxing the place made us feel.
We are already looking forward to planning our next stay.

A Wonderful and Memorable Visit.
Rachael and Rory were perfect hosts and were always there to assist us. The icing on the cake was a delicious Yorkshire Brack cake waiting for us on our arrival and to top it all Rachael made us a cake half way through our visit. The accommodation was excellent. Car parking right outside the front door.

Family holiday
The cottage was well positioned to explore the moors and surrounding areas. It was well equipped and Covid 19 guidelines were well thought out. Our stay was comfortable, the host went over and beyond and ensured we were happy and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend staying here.
This is the perfect place to stay, nice, clean and in the true spirit of a B&B. Can only highly recommend this place and nor least the host!
And the location is so nicely remote that you can truly relax and enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the place.
This place is on the moors, near to a village with a pub providing very good food. It was very comfortable and apart from our bedroom, we had the use of a living room with TV which was great. We had a warm welcome, good breakfast and enjoyed our stay immensely. There is a herd of young cows on the farm which graze in the fields and can be seen from the B&B. Absolutely rural bliss.
Thank you for a wonderful time staying at Buttercup cottage it was exceptional clean and tidy and comfortable and the location was superbly tranquil and peaceful holiday home from home and would certainly go back again thanks to Rachel for the warm welcome with homemade lemon drizzle cake and s jug of fresh milk to make a pot of tea.
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Church House Farm. On arrival there was a warm welcome. The setting was stunning despite the wind and rain. Definitely plan to return.
Rachael was very welcoming and there was everything we needed in the room . Wonderful breakfast with a gorgeous view. The area us very lovely if a little hilly for much walking . Friendly local pub restaurant and easy access to the coast from here.
