Stone steps lead you up to the kitchen, which is well equipped and ready for you to create all of your favourite meals. The living room has a leather suite around the feature fireplace, with a step up to the raised dining area which enjoys views of the river. There are three well-presented bedrooms, with William Morris soft furnishings adding a splash of colour. There is the master superking bedroom, a twin bedroom with zip and link beds and en-suite facilities, and a third bedroom with a kingsize bed. They all have wardrobes and drawers for your belongings. Ruswarp is a beautiful village only 2 miles outside of Whitby, and it is a scenic walk along the footpath beside the train tracks to the town centre. You can also hop on a bus or the train to get into Whitby if you prefer. The cottage is conveniently located next to a children’s indoor play area, as well as the miniature steam train and the riverside café which has delightful views as well as delicious food. The railway station, village shop, butchers and village pub are just a short walk away. Further along the coast you have Robin Hood’s Bay, Sandsend, Staithes and Scarborough, all glorious for a day out, and the North York Moors National Park is beautiful and laced with hiking trails.
