On the day i arrived and saw the house it was very daunting . The staircase was dirty window sills dirty on every floor. Moonshine loft looked clean, towels and bedding was very good The bathmat was very dangerous, needs new one,and being on my own was scary, If when i had arrived and the weather wet and cold i can honestly say i would have turned and gone home

If you want a holiday with no access to television then this is the place for you.
If you want a holiday with no access to television then this is the place for you. Yes a television is provided however there is no signal. Check the aerial cable connection and checked save channels (good luck with that). No stored channels found please run auto tuning (good luck with that). Owners advise, whilst waiting for signal enjoy a glass of wine.!!!

The moonshine loft is a lovely little apartment for a few days in Whitby, we are only in our early 70’s so the 50 steps are no problem at all. We have stayed there twice now and look forward to more visits in future. Our only suggestion would be to make the parking arrangements clearer as not being locals to Whitby we fell foul of the traffic warden. A map with the parking permit would help.
