"This property is gorgeous and is a short drive into the town of Coromandel. Shirley went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Everything you need is available here (stove, bbq, laundry, etc.). There is a private tangelo orchard that comes with the property. There are a couple chickens and a lamb that graze in the orchard. The lamb loves tangelos."

"Great place , classic kiwi batch with a nice kitchen and dishwasher! which was a nice surprise. Well laid out , good shower , comfy lounge ,comfy beds, beautiful views of hillside and estuary. Good parking, nice neighbors. Advice you take your own big umbrellas for shade on deck. Can park a 6mtr boat on grass then 2 to 3 vehicle's. Only con would be no details on rubbish collection. "The cottage was beautiful with so much character, books and games, and lovely options for outdoor chill areas. We spent about half our trip relaxing at the cottage as it was so homey and welcoming. Shane was inviting and as a travel magazine author had great recommendations for the very quiet town. 10/10 hope to be back."

The ladder fell and almost hit one of the kids who was sleeping in the double bed. Because it’s a sleep out, all of the beds should be a series of bunk beds instead of the two double and queen beds. "The photos look really nice so it was a little bit of a surprise when we arrived to see it what it was actually like. Mould on the textured ceiling in the bedroom and found a flea in one of the beds (after waking up with bite marks), we don't have any pets so we definitely didn't bring it with us. The unit was full of the owners stuff which cluttered an already small space and made it difficult to find a place to put things. The carpet in the bedroom looked to be original and everything felt...
