"We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Cottage!! The property is incredible with tons of windows to see the lake view. No matter where you are in the house, you always have a lakeview. The property is set up like a hotel with everything you need minus daily housekeeping. Full kitchen equipment, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Having a hot tub was such a nice feature to relax at night and enjoy the lake. Dog friendly which is an amazing plus. Will definitely be booking a stay again next...

"The property was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. Lots of windows with a few that can be a little stiff when trying to close or open the metal exterior blinds but manageable. On our first day it was cool and windy on the lake with huge waves crashing against the rocks out front and splashing against the large bay windows, we were looking forward to the hot tub. Had unexpected guests arrive for a few drinks and late night hot tub but unfortunately tub water level wasn't checked...

We tried the public beach and it was clean and welcoming. We also tried the beach on Blvd 5. We all loved the private beach. Hosts were great and easy to deal with. We will be back. Karen & Ray"

Be prepared for steep stairs, if you have luggage, you will want to lock the screen door open before hauling your luggage up the staircase. The door opens toward you and there is little space to stand while opening the door and it could be easy to lose your step. More steep steps when entering the entry way. The overall space is wonderful. Clean and the washer and dryer was a bonus. You will need to bring your own...

"The location was amazing! A small sandy beach right behind the cottage made it easy to access the lake. We stayed there in late August and the water was warm. Use of the kayaks and paddle boards was a bonus. The cottage itself was compact but very comfortable and nicely furnished. Lots of comfortable seating on the deck including shaded areas made it easy to enjoy the outdoors and great sunset views. Highly recommend!"
