"This was our first experience glamping, it was comfortable and relaxing, we enjoyed the peace and quite, loved the barbecue, had a nice meal. Owners was very helpful, and polite... Hoping to go again one day. Kind regards Peter and Kathleen "

"A lovely hotel which is very well located in Stamford, The Crown is near the main shopping street and many restaurants. It is also within walking distance of the Burghley estate. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable; our room faced out onto the street but the thick curtains ensured that we were not disturbed by the lights. Breakfast was very good and the staff are courteous and efficient. We arrived at check-in time and managed to park in the hotel car park, but it is quite small and I think it would have been full if we’d arrived much later. However, this is still a great hotel which I would highly recommend."
