Whangaroa Heaven is a loved kiwi bach overlooking the beautiful Whangaroa Harbour. The bach has warmth, character, kauri floors, spectacular views to die for, large decks and all day sun.

Whangaroa is one of the most peaceful, beautiful and enjoyed harbours in the north with big game fishing, fun fishing, harbour cruises, diving experiences, relaxed walks for the views and much more.

10 minutes drive to the beautiful Tauranga Bay Beach, 20 minutes to KeriKeri for trendy shopping and luxury cafes.

We had the best time here. Great location to stay for walks, fishing and exploring. The photos don’t do it justice. Everything you want is there and we will definitely be back. Northland is our happy place and this accomodation was perfect.

My partner and I love our well needed staycation at Julia's bach. It is such a quiet and peaceful place, the views from the house are absolutely stunning and there's so much to do in the area too. We can't wait to be back !

Such an impressive location, overlooking the harbour, even more beautiful than the photos show! Wonderful communication from Julia the owner, we are grateful they shared their home with us over the long weekend. Beautiful modern bathroom, big spacious lounge, all the utensils and kitchenware you could possibly need. A really wonderful stay.

You’d never get sick of the view.
Well equipped, clean & comfortable. The house stood up well to the cyclone that prevailed throughout our stay. Even in the mist & rain the harbour view is beautiful.

This was our third stay here, and it just keeps getting better. Love the new kitchen! The house is well equipped and has everything you need for a fantastic holiday in a little slice of paradise. The photos of the view almost don’t do it justice - just stunning. Thanks Julia for the flexibility in allowing us to extend the dates for our stay.

This is our second time at this property and we hope it won’t be the last! It has everything you need, private and absolutely stunning views. The owner is super easy to deal with. Perfect Weekend Getaway
Spacious and comfy bach with everything we needed for a weekend away with friends. The glazing offers such great views from all the living spaces. As already pointed out the kitchen is very small but we found it very functional - and the benchtop bifold out to the deck is brilliant. We found the bbq (situated out the back) was nearing the end of its life, as they do, but still managed steak for dinner. Hard to beat this private and well setup location.

Pluses: Great location, views, decks. Renovated kitchen and bathroom. Well equipped. Close to Fishing Club (pub/ restaurant)/ boating/ kayaking. Minuses: Extremely limited water supply, shower had no drainage, musty bedrooms, no bug screens. Steep driveway and stairs may be an issue for some.

Fabulous little kiwi Bach with stunning views
Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. The bach had everything we needed. The kitchen is really well equipped and the new bathroom is lovely. We have a 6 metre trailer boat which (at the owner’s advice) we put on a marina - a win all round. The driveway has a sharp narrow turn into it which would have been tricky, and it was great just to be able to walk on and off the boat as we pleased. We’d love to come back!

A peaceful little gem
We had a wonderful stay with all the amenities we needed for a short stay. There are stunning views from every window of the bach and it’s only a short drive to some beautiful walks. The host was very helpful and the bach was very comfortable and great value.
